Dr. Harold Thomas Akin, MD

One of the previous reviews stated that the Dr jumps from patient to patient while leaving you to wait. I suspect the patient was having his eyes dilated. A quick search shows that the eyes take 20 to 30 minutes to open after the drops are placed in ones eyes. What do you want the Doctor to do during this time? He has a business and has to maximize his time just like anyone else. I have found him to be professional and courteous.

Although Dr Aiken is a nice man, time spent with a patient is not so good. He is hopping from you to at least 2 other patients, which results in unnecessary time waiting for your treatment/evaluation Needless to say I won't be going back

I've seen Dr.Akins the last 10 years and he's wonderful!!!

Been here over 1 1/2 hours. Finally got back to the room and still not finished. Dr said he would be back in 10 mins and its been 25. The lady at the front desk is also rudw, I asked her what the hold up on my appointment was because I was on a schedule and she just told me to reschedule..... I've had to wait 2 months for this appointment and they can't even see me on time. Waste of a trip & $$ guess they don't really care they still get paid.

Dr. Aiken and his staff are the best. Always makes you feel comfortable and confident that they are taking good care of you.

Dr Akin has been my doctor for at least 25 years, I got new insurance & it does not cover Dr Akin, so I guess I will have to go anyway as no one else is going to touch my eyes, he is worth it.
