Dr. Harold Lynn Norman, MD

Harold Lynn Norman, MD, ABOS is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon in Jacksonville, Florida with more than 33 years of experience. Dr. Norman's orthopedic practice focus is on hip, knee, and shoulder joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery treatment of shoulder and knee conditions, and fracture care. Dr. Norman takes pride in providing state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery methods, as well as compassionate personalized care.

Dr. Norman graduated from the University Of Arkansas School Of Medicine in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1972. He completed a rotating internship at Tarrant County Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas in 1973, and his orthopaedic residency training at Jacksonville Hospital Educational Program and University of Florida at Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL, completed in 1977.

He began his orthopaedic practice at St. Vincents Hospital in August 1977. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1978. In 1996, he and a group of doctors formed …Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute, Inc., the areas premiere orthopaedic practice. Dr. Norman services on the executive board.

He participated in the development of St. Vincents Center of Orthopaedic Excellence. Designation that was awarded in 2009. Dr. Norman served as Section Chief of Orthopaedics at St. Vincents Hospital for 12 years.

Dr. Norman is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Florida Orthopedic Society, Florida Medical Society, Duval County Medical Society, Northeast Florida Orthopaedic Society, and American Medical Association.
