Would not recommend, poor follow-through and communication.

He did an emergency c- section for me. And he was WONDERFUL. I will be forever grateful.

I have been going to Dr Weisenfeld for about 12 years. When I leave there I feel I've gotten the best care. I have some issues going on now, but I trust him whole heartedly. I'm very proud to say he's my Dr.

I didn't care for Dr. Weisenfeld's attitude. He thinks he is funny, but can confuse being sarcastic with being rude and condescending. If you can ignore his personality, he certainly is educated and experienced. I much preferred his partner Dr. Updike. He will answer your questions carefully and thoughtfully without the annoying comedy act. I also felt very comfortable with the nurse practitioner, Kim. (Sorry, can't recall her last name.)

He is straightforward, honest and funny. I personally like him the best out of all the other ob-gyns I've ever met. Wait time is always 10 mins or less. He stands up for what you want, whether it be natural childbirth or something as simple as a flu shot.

I have never been treated in such a disrespectful way by a physician. The arrogance of this man irks me to this day. He did not listen to my concerns at all and was blatantly rude. He told me I was imagining symptoms from my IUD and that I needed to keep it in or I'd get pregnant. He simply blamed my symptoms on aging, I'm 25.I insisted he take out my IUD. Guess what? My symptoms stopped and I'm not pregnant. It's one thing to be wrong, even Dr.'s make mistakes. It's quite another to treat someone like they're crazy and be disrespectful and condescending on top of it.

I would recommend Dr. Wiesenfeld to anyone! He was my OB and delivered all three of my children. He gets to know his patients and is sincere and genuine. (He helped find the heartbeat to let my husband tape record it each time.) He always answered my (sometimes lengthy) list of questions and could always put me at ease with any concern that I had. One of my birth experiences had potential problems and due to his quick action and excellent monitoring of my situation, everything went very well with no complications. He is very smart and I trusted him completely. I am so glad I found him!

I love this physician! He's the best, I travel a great distance to see him.

First, I would definitely recommend Dr. Wiesenfeld to anyone. I trusted him completely with all decisions and the best options for each of my pregnancies. He is well-known in his field as being a respected physician and a man with a drive for researching and learning. I have a friend that works in a lab across the street from Magee and he was very aware of Dr. Wiesenfeld's reputation. His bedside manner is not always warm and fuzzy, and actually, he can be rather sarcastic but funny. Most importantly, I did trust him and will with any future pregnancies.

After being referred to him for a vaginal problem, I soon chose him to be my OB for my current pregnancy.He's smart and sensitive.
