Dr. Harold Wilkinson

Dr. Wilkinson is the finest doctor I have ever been to. Completely straight with me when other weren't.

This doctor is pompous and is about 80 years old. It is a waste of time and money seeing him. He cannot write his own prescriptions, even for a simple Xray and asks You to get another doctor to write prescriptions for him (which other doctors will not do). He really needs to retire and is an embarrassment to a good hospital (MGH). He may have been a good doctor decades ago, but obviously wants and is permitted to pretend he is still relevant to the medical community. Retiree already and stop wasting a patients time. He will issue a report of everything you already know. See George Washington instead.

Dr. Wilkinson is extremely thorough, but you don't feel welcomed to ask too many questions. His thoroughness is to be greatly admired and one should be grateful for his interest and concern.

Overall rating: 1 or worse. I would not recommend Dr Wilkinson to even my dog. He does not prepare for his appointments at all. He wastes patient time laboriously going through medical records he has never before looked at. He does not explain anything nor does he answer questions. Worst of all, he does not listen to patient, even when patient is citing other MD's diagnosis.
