Dr. Harris Abram Nickowitz

I had the displeasure of being assigned him as an in-patient internist during admission. His overall demeanor is cold; seemed uninterested in being at work. He's not well educated in a vast number of conditions, appearing very green in his role. He is not an advocate nor bridge for patient health & wellbeing, even huffed saying 'I guess I'll read through this chart' when going through patient history. His exam was not thorough and given history was not taken seriously. He doesn't have a gift nor intuition for the medical field, and seems to take his work as a job vs a passion. He is either unaware or totally ignorant on how to communicate effectively and compassionately. He was also extremely unprofessional gossiping about my private patient info with a nurse in the hallway for others to hear. A shocking display for a new just-graduated doctor at a 'top' hospital. Would I trust his judgement to make big medical decisions? Absolutely not. He should be relegated to paperwork. 0 out of 10
