Dr. Harry G Blackstone, DO

I recently switched to Dr. Blackstone and wanted to say it was the best decision I have ever made! His whole team is great, and I can trust what he tells me. Wish I had switched years ago!

Although some of the staff members are very kind, the ones that stand out are the few disrespectful ones and the office manager. The office manager is just awful, she is disrespectful and completely lacks empathy. On occasion I have been a few min late (5-10) because of the distance and the construction that congests the road. This is a well known problem coming from 54. Any time I am late I call, usually waiting on hold for 15-20 min at any given time. The person who answers always tells me it is no big deal as they have a 15 min policy. When I get there I get yelled at about being 5 to 10 min late and they demand evidence that I called and got permission. This is usually when they bring the manager out (Angela) to yell at me like a child and tell me how I am going to be last because I was 5 min late. The staff has yelled me a few times for no reason. I am a grown woman and do not deserve to be yelled at for seeking care. Empathy and compassion go a long way in the medical… field. The last time I tried to schedule (several months ago), the nurse Teresa told me they would not see me because they didn't like the reason I gave them (generic conditions flair up). She screamed at me on the phone and hung up. Due to the history of this happening I began recording my calls with them. In the call you can clearly hear me very calm and polite as she's screaming at me. When she refused to schedule after several minutes I told her the call was being recorded and she hung up. I have evidence that I've never been anything but kind to them, they don't care about people at all. Edit: it was always less than 15 min. I have always been respectful even though respect is not what I received back. When she says they "accommodated" me, they had us wait several hours because we were 5 minutes late. There are a variety of reviews on a variety of sites that all say the same thing, the staff members are very rude and disrespectful.

Hands down the best doctor I've ever had in my life. I went too 4 different doctors to find out what was wrong with my leg and It took Dr. Blackstone a total of 5min to ao advise me I have strep in my leg was cured in 3 days. (4 other doctors advised me to go to the CDC because they had no idea) Super recomend!!

For over 20 years he has taken care of myself and my husband I don't know how I could ever do with out him..#1 He Listens #2 He is smart #3 He cares

I love Dr. B and his staff! I will never go anywhere else! Absolutely the very best care anyone could ever get!

Husband and I are patients and we are also Retired Travelers, Doctor works with us on the fact we are not always in town. Staff is very nice and helpful. We like his "Lets do it ...lets fix it (if we can) and get you back out there living a good life attitude". Keeping it simple.

My husband and I live Dr Blackstone. He was our family doctor for over 20 years untill we had to switch Ins. Would love to be one his patients again but need to find out if he is listed on our insurance we both trust him completely the greatest Doctor you could ever have. Stella (Rosie) and Jerry Burk

Dr. Blackstone is a very knowledgeable and thorough professional. We have gone to him for all our medical needs for 20 years now. Good man, none better.

Dr. Blackstone takes his time to listen to your issue, has provided care that actually has improved my quality of life and being able to walk. You are a person not a number in this office. His entire staff is caring and great people to assist you no matter how large or small your problems are.

I went to Dr. Blackstone for 17 years but when I went on Medicare and went on Humana I could not go any longer. I am so unhappy but the other insurance plans are too expensive. Great Doctor, friendly, kind, compassionate and understanding!!
