Dr. Harvey William Buchsbaum

Dr. Buchbaum was thorough and so kind. He put us at ease and carefully explained the possible causes of the problem

I had been referred to this doctor by my rheumatologist, for specific testing. he started the exam by asking about my symptoms, a long list including extreme episodes of brain fog that includes memory loss. I was told brain fog is always psychiatric and related to stress anxiety and depression and not a neurological symptom. He moved on to the exam which consisted of me walking across the room, after which he pulled a large safety pin out of a drawer opened it up and proceeded to poke my fingers and toes with it. after completing that portion of the exam he told me there was nothing wrong with me and that I did not need any follow-up with neurology.

Dr.Buchsbaum is a wonderful person inside out he cares about you in every way known. HE saved my life I was treated by dr.s in missippi they did a cat scan and said it was epilepsy , so they were giving me only medication but it was getting worse but I went along with what they telling me to do . In June of 1987i moved back to Tucson Az I seen a Dr. here they referred him to me ,he sent me to have a M R I it came back reporting I had a tumour on my left side temple if it wasn't for him I would have died GOD gave me a garden angel I had brain surgery on Dec. 1987 I still have been seeing him for fallow up and medication he has never in 29years let me down if anyone out there needs a nerolagest he the best he cares about his patients I haven't had a Dr. who cares like this in 50 yr.s

I thought he was very good. I liked him and his manner. He also lighten it up with humor. I liked his down to earth ways.

I am under the eight different doctors. Most of them I like and a few I tolerate. But I have no doubts or illusions about the quality of care I receive from any one of them and they are all great. Dr. Buchsbaum has cared for me for the last 8 years and has looked after me well.He pulls no punches, is honest (sometimes butally), and thorough. He offers options when appropriate and always makes me laugh. He spent an appropriate amount of time with me and is never rushed

I love Dr. Buchsbaum. He is a great doctor and human being. HE tells it like it is. I hope he lives for ever. THANK YOU for taking such good care of me.

Dr. Buchsbaum is an excellent doctor. He is very understanding and easy to talk too. I'm glad I finally found a docotor that I don't mind going to see.

I went to see this doctor about 3 years ago. I was sent home form over seas due to an injury that occurred. I was told that I could not return due to the seriousness of this injury. As soon as I got home, I saw this doctor along with my workers comp nurse and it was horrible. He did not review any of my paper work which contained my MRI. I poked my fingers and toes with a somewhat sharp instrument and told myself as well as the workers comp nurse that I had carpals tunnel. I have multiple injuries with my back so how did he come to this conclusion. He said that it was ok for me to return to work but I guess he didn't realize that I was in a war zone. I got dropped form receiving any further workers comp. I put in a grievance for this doctor but I haven't heard anything as of lately. Very unprofessional and lack of THOROUGH examination. For crying out loud, he didn't even address my MRI or real pain. I was angry-I'm still angry.
