Dr. Harvey James Featherstone

Genuine concern for me as a person with long-standing symptoms. Personalized diagnosis and treatment were monitored and adjusted as needed until success was attained.

Dr. Featherstone is one of the best doctorsI have ever been to. He is an excellentdiagnostician who explains his diagnosesclearly to the patient in understandableterms. He is extremely caring and works to find out what is happening to the patient as a whole person. He is very smart and is able to translate medical information so the patient understandsthe reason for a certain medication orapproach. One of the best things is the ample time that he spends with a patient; he actually listens and responds to your questions and concerns. I found his staff helpful in setting up appointments and kind and friendly on the telephone and in office interaction. I would highly recommendDr. Featherstone to anyone looking for achronic pain doctor or for intractable headaches.

As his peer, Mr Featherstone is a complainer of working long hours while spending over 50% of his daytime work chatting with nurses and delaying patient work up and stay in the Hospital. His prior assessment by ED personnel is that he just takes his time in admitting patients. When approached by his peers, he is always recognized by a crying lazy Physician who does not know how to code for services, leaves work for others to do for him, and his personal hygiene is less than optimal.

Awesome Doc! Very knowledgeable about headaches and all the treatments available. Very good for patients who are not getting relief from there current treatment. However, the office staff is not easy to deal with and if he writes a prescription for a controlled substance its hard to get your refills. Also the drive to Capitain gives me a headache everytime. Overall though he is a wonderful doctor, I wish he was where I lived.
