Lazy staff , liar , stupid

the staff there is horrible, lazy don't want to work, liars. you end up doing half the work for them and your like any other concern parent and they kick you out the practice. My son was suppose to have surgery a month pass and no authorization I called the office to inquire and I was told, well you know the process does take long. I work for an insurance company, and ive worked for a specialty office in requesting auth. it does not take a month. i asked them to f/u on authorization i was told they did submit and that ipa was requesting medical records.I called my sons ipa and was told they never submitted, they reach out to the clinic turn out they fax it but ipa didn't receive fax and they never follow up on it even when i called them twice on it. this whole time never did the staff apologize they were just being rude and were upset because i was making them work and decided to kick me out and didn't even tell me. they made my PCP submit the authorization for surgery and everything… and when it was finally approved they decided they wouldn't see my son after all because i would make them do their job. I wanted to speak to the physician to find out if he was aware of what his staff was doing because im sure he doesn't want to loose money but they refuse to let me speak to him, what if it was a medical advise i needed from him.

I want to letting people to know to be aware with this terrible doctor , he will make ex-pence money like crazy in test and by the end of months he will just said the he don't know what you will have just is wait of time and money plus insurance money wait he is not honest

The stafff are incompident ... i get no answer from them my dad gets dizzy alot doc refer him to this doc ... omg not worth going here .. the staf dont care we fight with them about appt we have to wait for aturizatio. From medical a 3 weeks passes we call they said they sent it we call insurance they havent sent it ... then they tell me we will calk u bacc never do.. now waitting on another athorization and nothing now this time when we call no one answer we go straight ti voice mail ... not worth your time ....

I was actually referred to another ENT who was out of the office for a few weeks. My PCP told me I need to see an ENT asap due to enlarged goiter & troubling breathing & swallowing. Dr. Hamood was the ONLY ENT available with an appt within a few days. So, I gladly accepted the appointment. I needed to confer with a surgeon due to very large goiter which I called and verified that he is a surgeon. I had to reschedule 3 different times (one due to an accident--not doctors fault of course) Appointment #1---Copay is CASH ONLY. No credit, debit, or HSA cards. I got paid the next morning & asked if I could leave my card info & they could charge me tomorrow or they could bill me. Yes, they could bill me with a $25 fee because their billing person ONLY takes cash. I explained that I needed to be seen on an urgent basis per PCP & Endocrinologist. Nope, I was refused to be seen. And Dr. Hamood stood there the whole time and did not say one word. Look I understand I should have the… copay ready, but after paying $150 copay for MRI & $60 the week before for other doctor copays is a lot. I've NEVER been refused to be seen. Appointment #2---I was involved in a car accident which made me late for my appointment. I got there about 30 mins late. My complaint is this...I did not expect to be seen, but was told doctor might come back & I can wait. Then several minutes later, the receptionist comes out & closes blinds, locks door, turns lights off...she does not say anything to me. I say, "Oh, it looks like your office is closing??" she says, "OH, we've BEEN closed." How rude to have me just sitting there. Yet the office closes at 5 pm?? I think it was a ruse to get me to leave. Appointment #3--I arrive early with my CASH copay. I wait about 20 mins. Dr. Hamood examines my throat & ears. I told him I was referred due to my enlarged thyroid and to talk about surgery. He is paging through my blood test, MRI results, & ultrasound..."What's the problem?" So I explained about thyroid being enlarged and if he was a surgeon. Yes, he is a surgeon. or WAS a surgeon. He doesnt perform surgery anymore. Greatttt. Then proceeds to tell me that i need to comeback for a larynoscopy (sorry the spelling]. Why? I told him I work in Customer Service & spend all day talking & now within an hour of talking, my voice becomes hoarse & then its gone. He tells me..."Oh it's from excessive talking...you can relieve this by taking sips of water after talking & Tylenol for the pain" I'm thinking, WHATTT??! Oh, and I need to see a dentist because it seems I grind my teeth at night. Ooookay. Did you not look at those test in front of you? That is not why I was there! I seriously almost burst out in tears. I was SOOO frustrated and upset. We barely even talked about they thyroid surgery. When I even attempted to ask questions about it or even to question him on what I could be asking the actual surgeon who will be performing the surgery...the doctor brushed me off, "You should wait and ask the actual surgeon..." Okay, I understand that fact, but you having being an ENT surgeon should be able to answer questions or give me some insight... 0hhh and this took less than 5 mins... Bravo. Clap Clap. NOT

I don't think confronting a parent and challenging her if she would rather see another doctor after waiting for an hour and calling her because after over an hour the doctor is ready to see her is rather disrespectful and uncouth.I do not know if the treatment was because the patient was on medical in that case she was discriminated on or the staff just do not have any manners.Nonetheless, we drove for 45 mins, waited for over and hour only to be seen for no more than 2 mins and be told, my daughter needs an ear test and that will require another authorization.Although the 2nd part is not the fault of the office as it is the failed health care medical system. It would have not been so difficult if the staff were friendlier and more professional.

overall i would not recommend this dr. As i waited an hour, i watched patients in his office for 5 mins before i saw them walk out. Horrible bedside manner. His approach is too laid back, and he just has you keep scheduling appts so he can tell you the same thing u already know. he doesnt offer info about ur condition unless u pry it out of him and then he pushes u out the door. i went to get a second opinion and im glad i did..his wait and see method is ridiculous

My son hurt his eardrum. Despite not being previous patient, the friendly staff made sure that he was seen the same day. Doctor was very efficient, knowledgeable and had excellent communication skills. Would definitely recommend this doctor. Great experience.
