Dr. Hazel Wiley, DO

Please avoid this office like the plague. Dr Hazel Wiley has tremendous bedside manner. The list of positive things start and stop there. This office has by far the worst customer service I have ever witnessed in this field or any other. The previous reviews are real! I am a caretaker for both of my parents for a number of years and have been to countless medical professionals. This office is strictly here to be a revolving door of billable patients. I was told a procedure would be scheduled for my mother about 6 weeks ago. I was told this does take about a month to schedule and order needed supplies (contrast, dyes, etc.) 6 weeks have passed and I have heard nothing. I have been calling for a week and no one at the office even knows what I am talking about. No one knows the name of the procedure, if there is one that needs to be ordered, or even who my mom was on the 1st of many calls. I had to resort to recording phone conversations with this office to prove what I am saying. Now… the story has changed to Dr. Wiley is too busy with patients to answer any questions regarding my mom. I have been promised a call back every day which I have not gotten one time. I call on my own daily and am given a run around. I don't even write reviews or make complaints at places of business because I try to be understanding and tend to give the benefit of the doubt but this has reached a level that is hard to put into words. The health of patients, especially the elderly, is no matter to be handled by the incompetent but unfortunately, it happens all too often at this place. If you care about your health, which is why you would be here in the first place, I would advise you to look elsewhere. If you are more concerned with bedside manner and being comfortable during the actual visit this is the place for you. Dr. Wiley is probably good at her job and is well versed in neurology but she does do rotational hours at hospitals and probably does not care about how the office is run. Too many reviews with similar issues for too long.

She is a good doctor however her staff is horrible. English is their second language they are very hard to understand over the phone numerous appointments canceled if you have 5 months to waste then by all means ring her up.

I met her once in her office and liked her, then was admitted to the hospital and I don't know what happen but she loaded me with meds that are making me feel terrible and I've been trying to reach her for a week to get an appointment and it just isn't happening. I don't know if it's the staff or her but either way it's pretty crummy when one of your patients is in a lot of pain, taking tons of meds and isn't able to ask about it . That isn't what a Dr. does, it isn't even what any normal person would do. They'd stay on it until you were at least spoken to and perhaps things changed and out of pain. I don't get it. I don't know if I did something that offended her though I can't imagine what. While in the ER they told the nurses upstairs when they took me up that they did something in the ER that they absolutely didn't do as my husband was there with me the whole time. I know the covid has people on edge but not to give a patient a call back goes against all a Dr stands for. … I've been looking for others but most are booked. I can see why she isn't. Like I said it's a shame because the one visit I had I liked her but after a week of horrible pain and no one to tell about it I think it's time I write her off. I wish I could have given her a higher score. Honestly I don't know why she's a Dr if she doesn't want to help people.

I was referred to Dr Wiley from my primary, whom I trust but I was hesitant due to the reviews, but I took a chance and so glad I did. Dr Wiley was professional, yet friendly and courteous with a great bedside manner. She was patient and listened to everything I said and thorough in her questions and exam. Explained what she felt I had, and was quick and proactive to send me for tests as a precautionary measure. While there, I spoke of another problem I have which is rare and not treated by many doctors. I was happy to find that she was not only familiar with it, but treats it as well. I will be returning to her for test results soon and to address my other problem. I highly recommend her!

I saw her as a new patient, she ordered an eeg, after the test was completed it took her 6 weeks to get me the results. She and her staff did not return phone calls until I told them I was filing a complaint of abandonment and contacting an attorney. She allowed my prescription to run out during her treatment and then changed my meds without furthers instructions. She and her staff are rude and I am sure they would not want their family treated the way they treated me.

Just more pills

This is by far the worst physician and office I’ve ever encountered in my life. My mom is been suffering from migraines for many many months. The first visit was fine but after that it’s gone downhill. Refills are never done, I’ve been calling the office for an entire week with no return call the phone just rings and rings and rings and then just hangs up. I left a message for five days ago with the receptionist and the doctor never sent in a script followed up three days later and the doctor still hasn’t done anything
