Dr. Merkley was my ob with my son. He took very good care of me. I had preeclampsia in both of my pregnancies. He always answered every question I had, answered every concern. I can not thank him enough for being there! He made my pregnancy experience the best!

He was very good with teaching prior to my biopsy and very fast on getting me an appt. with the Gynecological Oncologist in Springfield. Wouldn’t change a thing. Friendly office staff

Calls himself an Endometriosis specialist but ignores you when you question his care for you. He removed my Endometriosis and didn’t explain the findings to me or even come see me after surgery. Put me on a birth control that caused me to heavy bleed for 3 months and kept telling me it was spotting. He eventually started to ignore my messages of concern on the blood. He cared for me through my pregnancy as well. I was having trouble and he wouldn’t help. Didn’t find out I had preeclampsia until I was 39 weeks and 6 days. Do not go to this guy if you want a good experience and good care because you will not receive it from him.

He is a joke of a physician. Does not care for you as the patient, only cares about what is best for HIM! Avoid if at all possible!

Dr. Merkley was on call when I delivered my youngest son and he made a truly traumatic experience. He completely disregarded my patient rights, told me he would not allow me to leave the hospital until I did what he wanted and even discussed death during childbirth while I was in active labor because I did not agree with him. He should not be a practicing doctor.

The best caring Doctor,short wait time,his nurses very sweet and go out of their way to make you comfortable and answer all questions. I highly recommended him!!
