Dr. Levy was very helpful. Her compassionate approach, along with her expertise were just what I needed. I give her a strong endorsement.

I finally feel validated - Heather Levy is a narcissist who clearly needs her own therapist. In my therapy sessions, she’s known to deal with her own issues. She gets defensive and is extremely awkward when dealing with people. She had moments of insight, but she is a fraud at it best. Stay away - a waste of money and she doesn’t like to take insurance. Don’t waste your money on her. There are better therapist nearby with a better care ethic with whom is focused on the patient experience.

Dr. Heather Levy has helped me in very serious ways more than once. She is intelligent, to the point and kind. Also, she has shown up and returned calls at inconvenient times. I consider her to be a hero.

I saw her years back, I'd say about 8 or 9 years ago. I thought I was alone in my opinion of her, but reading these has been so validating. I left her office in tears many times. My husband was starting a doctorate degree in Psychology at the time I was seeing her and she told me flat out that we had a slim chance of our marriage surviving his schooling. She mixed up my bills many times and I felt all the things described above. I was going through trauma at the time I met with her and I am so thankful I got out when I did as I fear she could have made everything much worse. When I untangled from her, I felt like I had gotten out of an abusive relationship - she called me for weeks after. I would highly caution anyone considering her for talk therapy (or any type of Psychological services).

Beware! I have to agree with all these reviews of her as a psychologist. I saw her moons ago and almost reported a claim with the Board of Psychology because my experience was so awful. I also didn’t see her very long, because I got the impression she didn’t like me for some reason - and she also made her opinions known of what she wanted me to do in my life. Completely in appropriate for a therapist. She’s very cold, and seemed to enjoy having the power of therapist over me as a client. And don’t question her approach, as she becomes defensive and her behavior becomes downright petulant. Beware! Beware!

I never met her. I only talked with her on the phone once, more than a year ago. But she left such a strong & lasting negative impression on me that, despite my having a less-than-optimal memory, I still remember her and am still very reluctant to try the organization she was working for when I spoke with her. [Looking to see if she is still with that organization so I can avoid them is the reason I am here on the Internet today and searching for her name got me to this helpful web site. Helpful because I am getting validation of how I felt about her, reading the reviews here. So, thank you!] During and after talking with her, I felt like I had been thrown a big frigid bucket of ice on me and that she had no heart whatsoever, nor any human relations skills. She completely lacked understanding and compassion, or any desire to help. She is most definitely in the wrong profession.

Heather Levy crosses boundries and gets visibly flustered. I didn’t see her very long because she’s expensive and I felt like she was judging me. There are better therapists nearby. She also confused my appointment times twice.

I felt attacked, judged and belittled. She created an atmosphere that was not conducive to change or recovery.

Not worth the amount she charges. Dr. Levy is stiff and unwelcoming. Not my cup of tea.
