Dr. Hector Chernov Caballero, MD

Dr. Caballero is AMAZING! I finally received a proper diagnosis and treatment. However, trying to communicate with his staff regarding medications issues, or trying to receive pre-authorizations for insurance is a nightmare. The office is hard to reach via phone; calls are not returned when forced to leave a message. And, for those of us with chronic. debilitating illness just trying to get your meds processed is an act of congress. It has been 10 days and I have yet to get my medication after numerous requests. Blue Cross has even called the office as well as the pharmacy and they are experiencing similar issues. It is so disheartening to have found such an incredible doctor with such a horrible staff.

I’ve had chronic migraine’s for years. Seen many doctors, who didn’t care to listen or help. Dr. C knew which migraine meds were dangerous for me to take and which ones would work. I’m a new person after years of agony. This man is like no other neurologist, he’s kind, patient and willing to help. The only suggestion I have is that AETNA would add them to their network so I wouldn’t have to pay a copay each time, but he’s worth the money!

Excellent care. Haven’t had a headache in about nine months and was able to get off four medication by increasing dosage of other medication.

Dr. Caballero has reduced the frequency of one of my husband's meds and stopped one completely. We are very pleased with his care and highly recommend him. Our concern last year over a billing problem was resolved with the help of our insurance company and we received our refund.

I have been seeing Dr. Caballero for 15 years for migraines. His office moved an hour away and I was willing to drive the hour to keep him as my neurologist. He listens and tries to find the best way to help and doesn't stop until he finds a treatment. I highly recommend him.

I feel this man is dangerous. He denies having insurance coverage so I want that private pay when I have Medicare Medicaid he sells diet pills at the front counter there is no nurse in the office only receptionist who helps with medical procedures. If you call back to get help no one will answer you no one will call you back. You call the office to leave a message message porch or always full something is not right

They over charged me for a test by 170 dollars, this isnt a problem and happens plenty. Normally a doctors office will just cut a check before we even know its happend. We have been chasing this down for over three months. Everytime time we have called we have been told they are not in the office to help. We have left countless messages. Only after we left a google review did they reach out to us We finally got a call back and they agreed they owed us the money and said they refund if we could give them the card number then placed my husband on hold for over 30 minutes. He hung and called back and was told they couldnt do it to day it would have to be tomorrow. It is the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to.

Very knowledgeable explain disease and condition you can understand

I was referred to Dr. Caballero by my cardiologist. I have seen him a few times and had a few tests run. I will continue to be monitored by him. He is professional and spends enough time with you. I would recommend him if you are having neurological issues.

Dr. Caballero figured out how to stop the migraines. I went to different doctors for several years and he is the only one that helped me.
