Dr. Hedviga Cristina Arsene, MD

Avoid this lady at all costs, she’s an awful doctor. I had to meet with her because my normal doctor is out and the only solution she provided was to get more exercise. She doesn’t care about giving appropriate care, all she cares about is getting you in and getting you out as quick as possible.

I've been going to Dr. Arsene for 5 years now and really like her. She has always given me the time I need and answered my questions. My only complaint would be with Kaiser. While I might want to go straight to an MRI she is required to start with an xray and go up from there. Which can be frustrating and seems like a waste of time. She is direct but I appreciate that. She has always been kind and I enjoy seeing her.

I had a very brief phone call because my doctor was out. It was a mistake. She kept calling me darling, and got on me about my weight when that was not the reason for the call. I will admit I need to lose weight, she decided to ignore when I told her I eat healthy and exercise. Told me I needed to face the numbers, I am aware of the numbers. It's not like I am sitting around all day drinking soda and eating cookies. I make all of my own meals and do cardio 4x a week. I don't even own cookies. She kept telling me to stop eating ice cream and sweets, I am lactose intolerant and cannot eat ice cream.I only keep sweets around for movie nights. I felt completely disregarded and shamed by her. She did not provide me any assistance. I wish I had just waited for my doctor to return.

I have been with Kaiser for 2 years now and was very unhappy with Dr. Arsene. She encouraged me to email her, but yet it was evident by her response that she didn't read them. Office visits were very frustrating. She was unknowledgeable, and when I asked her a question she told me once it was all in my head. What finally made me change physicians was my last physical. The worst ever. Took ten minutes, no gown, didn't even check my heart beat. She never looked at my chart when I moved my records over from previous provider.

I was a patient for over 2 years and every time I have an issue, I end up getting pushed on the side. I visited the office to ask regarding tinnitus condition I have (Ringing in the ear) and I inquired regarding multiple other issues I have been having and the answer I received was "You are young, go climb mountains and swim in rivers and don't worry about your issues" I'm thinking, I'm in pain still with no help from her. My most recent experience was when I had an infection and the doctor waited until my foot was severely swollen that I emailed her asking if I should be going to the ER (mind you the answer was YES, if the specialist office doesn't call me, but point is why wait till the issues is huge?) and when the infection moved to a different area and was told it was "self inflected infection" how would I inject my skin with the infection then? last straw was giving me Lamisil to treat it without running any liver/blood tests, I ended up not taking it and resulting to use natural… solutions for antibacterial and anti fungal infections (Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother). Bottom line, I would never be her patient and I should have changed her a long time ago.

I have been with her for over 8 years and really like her and feel sad as I moved and need to change a doctor. She is friendly, approachable, kind, listens and helps with what is needed.

so disappointing with this Dr. from Kaiser Permanente. It seems that she doesn't care about my clinical situation and I don't know what else to do.

Fails to listen. Over 40 years with Kaiser, she is the worst I have seen. She had some kind of fever the last time I saw her and would not come close to me. She shouldn't have been at work. All of her time was on the computer.
