Dr. Heidi Ty Woessner, MD

I was admitted at Piedmont Hospital by Dr. Woessner. She was great in every way; kind, compassionate patient-centered, and concerned about my condition. She was also very thorough in her testing and evaluation and in prescribing any medication that was needed. I just wish she had an outpatient practice, as I am looking for a good female neurologist right now to see long-term. They just don't make them like her these days. The only thing other than that which I would change is that sometimes her PA saw me instead of her and often had to relay questions to the doctor for me that she could not answer, and the doctors in that practice rotate each week. I would have liked to have had Dr. Woessner follow me the whole time, as I felt she really looked out for me while she was on. I would definitely recommend Dr. Woessner to others if they need to be in the hospital for neurological reasons.
