Dr. Henry Cabot L Bohler, MD

He's very quick, he doesn't really take the time out to really explain your option. No empathy, no sympathy. He literally laughed when he was telling my that one of my hormones was very high it made my husband pretty upset. When I asked what can I do to lower it he said he didn't know!

My OB/GYN has misdiagnosed a bicornuate uterus after 3 miscarriages. Told me to keep trying. After 2 more, he finally referred me to Dr. Bohler who gave me a saline infusion sonogram(SIS). He said it was necessary to determine the shape of my uterus and learn all we could. Polyps as well as a septum we’re discovered. He performed the surgery to remove them all. Tested the polyps for cancer. After I healed for a month he checked my uterus with another SIS. All was good. I was given the ok to get pregnant again. I did & had a healthy pregnancy & baby. After the first trimester he sent me to a wonderful MFM, Dr. Tabb.

When my doctor refused to do a dnc because i was too young she sent me to dr. Bohler. He took the time to figure out what was wrong and determined i did in fact need a dnc. He was great and made sure i had no questions going in. Getting ready to go back.

The billing department is a joke. I spent 2 months fighting over a prepaid procedure. This is after having spent the worst 15 Minutes of my life with him and the female doctor who he was working with. Worst bedside manor ever.

Awful experience. Would not go back if you paid me.

Good luck getting someone to answer a phone to schedule an appointment or having someone return your phone calls.

Great doctor they just move slow. Not very sensitive to you but very direct

Do NOT go to this doctor. He is the worst.

The first moment I met Dr. Bohler, he told me I would get pregnant, that there was nothing major standing in the way. I have yet to get pregnant but that is mostly because I took a break. I like the fact that when you go to his office, you'll see other doctor's (med students, residents? I'm not sure which) and they are all very eager to figure out what is wrong. You also meet with him and he reviews everything going on. The staff I have interacted with have been nice and friendly. My only gripe is that nothing is ever made clear. I had to come back for lab work but was told just show up and when I did that, I was told to make an appointment but yet it's taken me all day calling and no on answering. This is not a poor reflection on Dr Bohler at all, just the larger processes through UofL Healthcare and a large organization. I feel like Dr. Bohler cares and to me that is important as I an encountered many doctors in other practices that didn't care at all. We are still working… on a treatment plan for getting me pregnant and I trust that him and his team will help me make the right decisions regarding further treatment.
