was referred after brain MRI showed fluid on brain. He is very kind & explains everything very well. After waiting to see if Dialysis would help & it didn't, he did a lumbar puncture to drain fluid from brain. I have severe Fibromyalgia so everything is painful but Dr Pool is incredibly caring & gentle. Unpleasant as the procedure was, he & his staff made it tolerable & I will never go anywhere else. I had 2 LP's done yrs ago at Novant due to sepsis & it was my worst nightmare. I will die on the street before I ever step foot into any Novant. 5 stars for Cone & Dr Henry!

I love Dr. Pooles and the way he interacts with me! I’ve told friends about him and he is the best Doctor I’ve ever seen! His concern is very important to a patient that is in pain

Dr Pool is the absolute best I have been a patient for over 20 years.Due to an accident , I was injured terribly bad with a diagnosis of paralysis. However Dr.Pool corrected my spinal trauma. This is why I fully trust the work of Dr Pools surgery it has helped me live less painful life because of the MULTIPLE surgeries throughout the years!!

I have been seeing Dr. Pool for a while now. So has my husband and daughter. Dr. Pool replaced my C6-C7 Disc with a Titanium one and it went great. My daughter had an issue with L7-S1, she was only 19 at the time and is doing very well 5 years later! My husband is still recovering from his, very difficult surgery, but I think in time he will feel much better. I would recommend Dr. Pool he is not a surgery 1st kind of guy, he wants to make sure any surgery is absolutely necessary. Dr. Pool also replace my C5-C6 disc with Titanium, this one didn’t go quite as well, but Dr. Eichman ot the pain management portion is helping. I would suggest this practice to anyone with spinal isuues.

Dr Poole is a very nice caring man that takes the time and really sit down and explain to you and show you that he care about what he's doing when he works with you I appreciate that he takes the time to sit down and explain and let me ask a lot of questions I would recommend him to anyone that needed a neurosurgeon
