Dr. Henry Shapiro

I have been seeing the office for a couple of years now for many reasons. The staff has always been accommodating and friendly, although busy. Dr. Shapiro although his demeanor may seem resigned. He takes the time necessary to review everything and discusses all your issues to see what might be a contributing factor. To me this behavior shows more about him caring than an overly sweet or affectionate demeanor. The staff is professional and direct with friendliness, they are not rude but busy. They will do their best but they must listen to the doctor and take into consideration all patients. I have received excellent care and consideration with testing, medications and referrals when needed.

Dr. Shapiro is extremely rude!!! Unbelievable.

I’m so glad I was referred to Dr Shapiro. He’s very dedicated and has an above average empathy for his patients. His bed side manner is the best!

Unfortunately I was not able to get an appointment for my boyfriend, even though I called several times. I spoke to Robin in 4 different occasions. Robin was not pleasant, polite or professional. Also, she did not show any care whatsoever about my boyfriend needing to see a hematologist as soon as possible. She said she was going to ask the doctor but then she came back and said "with the high season the doctor is just booked". Unfriendly, not caring, not the way I would like my loved ones to be treated when dealing with cancer. The doctor comes highly recommended, this is just very unfortunate his staff lacks compassion for the patients and their family members.

This is a wonderful group of doctors and staff.
