Dr. Hilary Jane Fausett, MD

I had my first appointment with Dr. Fausett this Tuesday and I can not wait to start my road to recovery with her. She's highly educated and cares about educating her patients, she's kind, caring and not a pill pusher. I'm so grateful to be in her care. Her nurse Grace and office manager Janet were both super kind and helpful as well. I must say I was hesitant to contact Dr. fausett based on the previous reviews about her office staff but I'm extremely happy I did and I did not experience anything but great care and kindness from everyone including Janet. I highly recommend Dr. Fausett and her staff to anyone who is need of a wonderful pain management doctor.

Staff sucks especially Janet who is very aggressive and rude. Anyone who has been a real patient knows this and agrees. The only racist is the fake reviewer below, claiming to be from CA. Who isn’t from CA, dummy? Anyone who has worked with Dr. Fausett must have been living in CA for many years to have been her patient. Dr. Fausett herself is amazing, but as with most doctors’ offices, if the office staff is as horrendous as they are at Dr. Fausett’s office, I won’t go. No doctor is worth my nerves when the office staff are the Devil.

Thank you for going over the MRI with me. No other doctor has shown me what is wrong with me. I read the reviews and maybe some people are racist and misunderstand other cultures, but I found the office staff very helpful and courteous. I am from California and had no problems with the staff.

I was a patient of Dr Fausett for 5 years, from 2013 through 2018. I agree with what appears to the consensus throughout these reviews. Dr Fausett is a good doctor. She cares about her patients and wants to help them get out of pain. Particularly patients, like myself, who are proactive and who follow her advice. But her staff sucks, for lack of a better word. Particularly her office manager Janet. Janet is agressive and mean and she lacks compassion. She is not well suited to be working with patients who are in pain. Dr Fausett once told me that she was aware of Janet's short comings. But that she has Janet in her office because Janet is good at dealing with insurance companies. I understand that dealing with insurance companies, and getting paid, can be difficult. I can understand the need to have someone on staff who is suited to handel that aspect of a medical practice. But for goodness sake, this is a pain management office. It is equally important that her office manager… be able to show compassion and be skilled at interacting with patients. Particularly patients who are experiencing periods of acute pain. On this level, Janet fails, and Dr Fausett is aware of that. It would behoove Dr Fausett to heed the reviews here and to take an objective look at her staff and how they interact with her patients. Then to make appropriate changes where needed. Instead, when misunderstandings arise, Dr Fausett backs her staff and allows this behavior to continue, at the expense of her patients.

Horrible place to work and waste of time. Unprofessional and rude. Poor hours and schedule always changing. Poor communication and feed back from management. They always hire people and never keep them. Not a loyal compassionate place to work at.

Dr. Fausett, do you know that Taylor tells patients to find another pain management specialist? She says there are way better doctors out there. If that's what you want her to tell any new patient that calls for an appointment to see someone else, then don't worry about her. She's doing her job. But if you do mind losing business because of Taylor, maybe you should fire her. This was the first time I called to make an appointment with you and frankly it was the first time the receptionist was advertising other nearby pain specialists. I was shocked. She gave me names and phone numbers. Wow!!!! That's all I can say. That's crazy. I'm sorry she works for you. I'm sorry that I won't be your patient even though you were highly recommended by my family doctor for my chronic back pain.

Doctor Fausett is really nice but her staff sucks. They will make you wait for hours and then hang up on you. George and Janet did that as did the receptionist. Dr Fausett is nice but doesn't understand that every business needs excellent staff members. When you hire rude people to work for you, don't be surprised if you start losing patients. How many times can a normal person ignore rudeness? Maybe once or twice but then we move on and find soother doctor. Your staff will either make or break your business. Janet is so rude and aggressive. Ready to fight with every patient who calls. Your receptionist tells patients to see another pain specialist because you're so busy. So why would you advertise your business if you're so busy? If I were you, I would hire more competent, professional, and friendly staff members. Otherwise, you will end up bankrupt or retire early.

I saw way too many doctors this past year. She was the only honest one. Her front office sucks which includes Taylor, George, and Janet. They are very rude and will hang up the phone on you. They are psychos. But the doctor is amazing. She truly is. If she would change her incompetent, lazy, and rude staff, all would be perfect!!!! As a fellow Harvard alumni, I know that she's the best of the best. God Bless her soul. :)
