Dr. Hillary Ann Robinowitz-Elins

Dr. Robinowitz-Elins shared more information about abnormal cells and cervical cancer than I've received in the past 17 years of having repeated colposcopy and LEAP procedures. She seemed to be very knowledgeable and was very capable of relaying her knowledge to someone with no medical background for frame of reference. I really appreciated the time she patiently spent answering my questions. Her knowledge gives me a great sense of confidence in her ability to provide preventative care.

Dr. Robinowitz-Elins talks a good game during the office visit, but did not follow through afterwards. I contacted her directly through the patient portal with new symptoms but received no response from her. No response from her office staff. I ended up having to get an emergency procedure for my issue. If she were a better doctor, I might have had the correct diagnosis sooner with a scheduled surgery rather than an unexpected, unplanned emergency surgery. Her high ratings come from her great bedside manners and faux-concern, furrowed eyebrows of concern, and reassuring hand gestures. I will take my new doctor with her good bedside manners and greater medical knowledge any day.

Dr. Robinowitz-Elins seemed to be knowledgeable when I saw her last week for an infection. She's not my doctor but since mine was out, I didn't have any other choice. My complaint with Dr. Robinowitz-Elins is that she was clearly rushed, didn't look at my incision for more than two seconds and then sent me out the door. Granted my primary care had already given me an antibiotic but I needed to know if something else needed to be done regarding the stitches. She was short with me and not willing to take the time to answer all my questions. I would not recommend her.

Terrible experience! Unfortunately, I have no good things to say about this place. First, from the start they told me that I was going to be induced at the end of my pregnancy based on the latest research, even though all my test results were normal, which is crazy and unacceptable! Second, towards the end of my pregnancy I got hemorrhoids and I asked for a prescription and she asked me to get OTC drugs, whereas, my friend's Dr prescribed her a cream and helped her a lot. My husband and I decided, eventually , to change my Dr and I missed two of my appointments at this office and no one even bothered calling me see if I was alright or having any pregnancy issues! Interestingly, today I received an email from them setting an appointment for me to get induced! This is without having seen me twice! Finally, i called them to let them know that I am not going there anymore and a very rude person at the front desk, very unprofessional, hung up the phone on me while i was talking! So,… if you don" care how you are treated, then this is the right place for you.

She initially had great bedside manners, but when we asked for additional assistance for our care, she hesitated on answering our questions. Later on, her office ignored our calls and portal messages - very unprofessional. When I had new symptoms, again I was ignored by her office and left without a doctor for awhile. My husband found another OB/Gyn at a nearby University Hospital. Turns out I needed an urgent D&C and close monitoring for complications. Bottom line - she practices scared medicine and can only hand simple OB issues.

Horrible. She is so rude and unfriendly. I would never recommend Dr. Robinowitz-Elins to my worst enemy. I told the staff that when I am in new situations and around unknown people, I get nervous and that is why my blood pressure reading may be high. Dr. Robinowitz-Elins said to me, "your blood pressure must be high because you're heavier than you want to be and you're nervous about getting on the scale". NOPE! not even close. And then she proceeded to tell me, completely unsolicited, about a woman she knows who can help me get rid of my unwanted facial hair. I have never felt so uncomfortable or angry in a doctor's office. Avoid her like the plague.

Amazing doctor. Was a new patient (young professional in my 20s) and went to her for an annual exam. I was seen right away at the time of my appointment. She had wonderful bedside manner. She truly exhibited patient-centered care. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I am so glad to have found her.

I have very complicated medical issues, and Dr. Elins spent extra time with me to make sure all my questions were answered. She even came in on her day off when I had an emergency.

She is rude, judgmental, and downright mean. I was shocked when I walked out of the Dr.'s office the day I saw her. I have several friends who visit the same OB's office, and had the unfortunate luck to be seen by Dr. Elins, and they all said the same thing. She is no longer with my OB, (thank goodness!!!) but I feel sorry for the practice (and patients) that ends up with her next!
