Dr. Hilton Mirels, MD

Was happy with the way this doctor treated my mother. My mother has very bad arthritis in her back as well as her knees. She first saw the back doctor who recommend that she see Mr. Mirels for her knees. Didn't have to wait long for him to see her and take x-rays of her knees. He was very kind to my mother and compassionate. He gave her an injection knee which she did not feel at all. I would highly recommend him.

This Dr either didn't understand or needs to brush up on what the Hippocratic oath means. He is rude, forgetful, undermining, and makes you feel as your are making things up. Almost as if you enjoy being in pain. You wait for him in his waiting room for 45 mins to an hour every visit. When you finally see him he belittles your symptoms, Screams and hollers at you. And will physically touch and force you to use your injured area. He is bully in every sense of the word. I am so upset with myself for not first reading his reviews prior to making any appointment with him. I suggest to anyone who is going to see any doctor whether new or old, read their reviews you'd be surprised at what people say and to know that you are not alone and its not your fault.

Would recommend without reservation

I have never had an appointment with Mirels where I did not have to wait 45 minutes or MORE for a less than, usually 15 minute meeting. Mirels did an "unnecessary meniscus surgery" only to leave me now preparing for knee replacement surgery, with another doctor, of course. Post surgery, speaking to him of my discomfort, he belittled my pain and told me "not to walk far, if it hurt".

Excellent doctor. Very thorough in his exam and his history taking. Excellent at physical diagnosis. Explained things clearly. Gave follow up plan and recommendation. The exam was for my teenager, but I was there throughout the process. I am very impressed,and could not ask for more.

Lack of courtesy and professionalism extends to his staff as well.
