Dr. Holly Ann Zywicke, MD

This was the first time I saw this doctor. My primary doctor had ordered an MRI to try to find out what was causing me so much crippling pain in my left leg. After the nurse got the "scoop" from me, the doctor came in with a scrunched up face, barely acknowledged me and proceeded to "recap" what the nurse had told her. She had her eyes closed the entire time and was talking so fast, I could barely follow her! After that she informed me the MRI did not indicate any problems and I did not need surgery. I told her I didn't want surgery, I just needed some answers about what would cause such pain, it caused me to call an ambulance! She just said she wouldn't know and that she is a neurosurgeon. I was in so much shock, I didn't know what to say. What happened to doctors who care about patients? A little kindness and a suggestion would have been nice! Also, who talks to people with their eyes closed and their face scrunched up?!

She is rude unprofessional and looked she hadn't bathed or washed her hair in days. I would never recommend this so called Dr to anyone!!!!

Thought I had the best neurosurgeon around, but he retired and Dr Zywicke took his practice. 1st appt with her she explained in detail what my MRI showed. Much more personable and open to questions - meticulous. When we finally decided there was no alternative to surgery, she explained completely what was going to happen. I would definitely recommend her.
