Dr. Hoo Yin Wong, MD

I had a blockage in my kidney. Dr Wong was looking right at the x-ray and said nothing was wrong. Thank God for his nurse who told me to get over to the ER she is the one that diag my blockage. This Doctor is dangerous!!! This did happen to me in Oct of 2012 but I'm still so angry! one week of unbelievable pain. Because he wouldn't help me. I had to beg him to take a x-ray.

He was on-call tooke three times of calling the answering service over a 2 hour time frame, when he finally did call he said, what do you need very rudely and made me very uncomfortable

Dr. Wong did not spend time listening to me or my condition at all. He just ordered two tests and sent me on my way. I did not feel like I was heard or helped. He has very little social skills and is not good with patients.

went to Dr Wong after a visit to the ER in severe pain. He did not even introduce himself only looked at the MRI and said no reason I should be in pain. I had to bag him for help. He told me to take tylonal. He did (after the nurse said something) tell me to get another x-ray if something show up he would help me if not it was not his problem. I got the x-ray that showed my kidney enlarged and prob a blockage (nurse told me this) not the doctor. Thank god for this nurse I ended up in the ER that night lost 50% of my kidney function ended up having surg the next day. No I don't recomend this doctor.

I went to see Dr. Wong to get an opinion on the healing of my circumcision which was performed by a different urologist. I mentioned non-dissolving stitches to Dr. Wong and he replied in all his years of practicing he's never heard of such a thing. A simple Google search reveals many different sorts of sutures which don't dissolve. How can you trust a doctor who doesn't even know what sort of sutures exist?

This doctor left me alone on the table after my prostate biopsy. I passed out and fell off injuring my head and eye. Staff and doctor showed little concern. Although not permanately injured additional medical costs amounted to several thousand dollars. A letter of complaint led to a contact with a medical malpractice company. All I wanted was a policy and their assurance the would change their practices. In addition my regular doctor didn't think I even needed the procedure. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
