He essentially insinuated I was faking the entire time due to not getting diagnosed with ADHD until college. Called the ADHD specialist who diagnosed me unqualified, put words into my mouth and shut me down when I tried to explain my symptoms, saying “oh that’s quite the claim. You’re just diagnosing yourself then?” I literally cried the entire night after he was so unkind when I was in such a vulnerable position

This psychiatrist does not recognize AD withdrawal as real. He tells his patients to do reckless things like discontinuing ADs by cutting them in half for 5 days then stop taking them after YEARS of use. He is clueless by failing to recognize a large percentage of people do experience AD withdrawal (discontinuation syndrome) and need to taper slowly. We are not all one size fits all. It is dangerous to discontinue an AD by reducing by 5O% and only holding for five short days. If you value your life and stability, do not go to this provider. He is egregiously ignorant and poses a threat to your health.

This doctor has no understanding or compassion for disabled individuals. When my son, who had a psychotic episode, was being discharged from Marymount he offered to shake Craciun's hand. The good doctor refused.

Missed a big part of my diagnosis, treating me for the wrong thing, which landed me in the hospital. Thankfully after my admission I got hooked up with a doctor who listened to me and treated everything.
