Dr. Howard Jeffery Morris, MD

I was seen by Dr Morris at Sierra Vista Canyon Vista and it was not a pleasant experience. I called 911 after having chest pressure, afib avr, and vtach, something I never experienced whatsoever. He did not explain to me what those ailments were but told me afib was not serious and was releasing me. No meds, no followup with cardiology, NOTHING. I was not comfortable with his dismissive way and my daughter, an ICU nurse, talked to him telling him releasing me was unheard of and that I should be kept for observation. He rolled his eyes as they talked but she did get her way and I was cared for properly. I really could not believe this man and his uncaring way. I'm now educating myself about afib thanks to my daughter.

Rude and dismissive. Went in with horrible bursitis pain that made me unable to walk and even movement made me cry and scream. He gave me 2 sedatives and tried to give me an antipsychotic use to sedate out of control patients. Had to go to another ER 40 minutes away after screaming and crying for nearly 24 hours. They actually gave me a bed, muscle relaxers, nsaids and a shot of steroids and not only could I move without screaming I could limp to the bathroom. Vs Howard who spoke to me for less that 5 minutes total. Never examined my hip, left me in a wheelchair in the corner where I was quiet other than the moans of pain , rolled his eyes when I came out of xray balling my eyes out because they made me roll onto my bad hip, but instead of treating me like a human he tried to sedate me to death and didn't give me a single thing for pain. When I tried to ask why he was giving me an antipsychotic for pain he told the nurse he spoke to me enough, diagnoses me and treated me and I could… take it or leave. Since I like breathing I chose not to take 3 sedatives. Also he didn't diagnose or treat anything. Glad I'm only worth 5 minutes of his time.

Doctor Morris treated me at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista for a respitory issue. He established confidence almost immediately and addressed both the medical condition and my and my wife's concerns. Not all physicians are 'created' equal. Dr. Morris is a superior professional.
