Dr. Howard Taylor, MD

I have had a throat issue for many months. Dr. Taylor has been unrelenting in his search for the reason. It was a difficult diagnosis, but he scheduled the necessary tests and specialist visits to make sure the diagnosis is correct. He is still working to make sure that there is nothing more serious affecting me. I also have nothing but great things to say about the office. Very personable service, great follow up and great at working with my insurance company to get the approvals.

DR Taylor and his staff are great. For does people who are not satisfied with the care they get your wrong.Yes at times it may be difficult to get into to see him, that's because he's in demand. Great Doctor and office staff.

Was put in room at appointment time, then waited 40 mintues while he dictated in next office. I could hear him through the wall. Told me that I had a problem, but he did not want to do anything. Told me that it is not the worst thing in life and I should learn to live with it. Arrogant and condescending attitude.

I've been seeing Dr. Taylor every 6 months for removal of wax from my ears. Not a life-threatening situation, to be sure! But my complaint is not with DR. Taylor. The problem is the staff. I've called numerous times, different times of the day, and each time the staff member answers, "Doctor's office, please hold". And I have held, and held, and held, until I get tired of holding, then I hang up. I'm looking for another doctor!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor's since 1980 and can not say enough about how great he is. He has done surgery twice on me. Once to remove Nasal Polyps that were restricting my airway in the mid 80's and a more extensive surgery that corrected my deveated septum as well as removed polyps. I have used a Nasal steroid spray since that time and have not needed any further operations since that last on done in 1994. He is more than the average Doctor. He made sure I was informed of everything he planned to do before and after the surgeries. Over the last 30 years I see him every few years for a check up. In 2002 he went out of his way to help me find a primary care doctor after being in a car accident and considered an MS suspect I could not find anyone that would help me. It just happened at that time I saw Dr Taylor for my regular checkup and he knew something was wrong. As soon as he found out the problem he had his office girls calling all the doctors he knew to find one that took… my insurance. He recommended a doctor that I have used ever since. I consider him the best in the world. You will be get the best care possible if you call him.

Find another doctor!

My fiancee walked in to his office at 9:45 on a Monday morning complaining of a 102 degree fever over seven days to be told to come back at 11:45 a.m.. Upon her return at 11:56 a.m., she was told the doctor could not see her at all that day. His lunch hour was more important than the well-being of a patient with a chronic fever. The staff rationalized not seeing a patient on the basis she was 11 minutes late for her appointment. This is the problem with health care in this country. Doctors don't think twice about making patients wait in their waiting rooms or exam rooms but God forbid we are a few minutes late to see them!

He is one of the best Dr.'s I have ever seen. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Taylor is the best doctor I've ever had the privilege of being treated by. He is smart, caring, and attentive. I only wish he specialized in EVERY area of medicine.

Dr. Taylor operated on me in 1995, he was cocky and very self-praising. He completely botched what was supposed to be a simple surgery and I'd be back to work within 72 hrs. He removed a bone from my eye and didn't replace it with anything and it wasn't discovered until my 2nd emergency surgey by another Dr. He did not drain both sides of the sinuses so I had an infection immediately, I hemorraged after surgery cause he did not pack my nose and left the hospital and then he sent me home tobe on bed rest for 2 wks and no antibiotics! I have spent many yrs afterwards, suffering in pain, discomfort, chronic sinusitis, constantly going to Dr.s and spending a fortune in medications, he removed too much from the sinus cavity and there is nothing anyone can do.
