Dr. Huan Chi Guu, MD

The doctor is really nice and great but the staff in the front.....soooo rude, always yelling at their patients.Every single time I went the yelling was heard through the front office.

Dr. Guu's actions (and lack of them) have a direct connection to my mother's death. I would like to take this opportunity to warn all adult children with aging parents to keep this doctor away at all costs. While I was able to keep him away from her in Mission Hospital (a wonderful institution) I was not able to prevent his access in a skilled nursing facility. It is so unfortunate that he has access to the elderly and that he will never take responsibility for his actions. Protect your parents - keep them away from Dr. Guu.

I saw him only once in my 7 days in a nursing home for skilled rehab. and then he spent only 4 minutes with me. He did not follow through on health issues to which he co committed.

This doctor was on call while I was in the hospital, he told me he "worked with my doctor" and called him by name which made me believe he was one of my doctor's partners. He typed a few things in the computer then left. Over two years later he hit me with a bill for over $500 that claims my insurance didn't cover. I no longer have that insurance policy and am having a hard time finding any way to verify anything his billing group claims.

I've never seen Dr. Guu at his office, but he was the doctor on duty when I was at the hospital. He just walked into the room, types a few things on his computer and walks out. He didn't ask me about my prognosis or give me any instructions, just saying that "you must go to your regular doctor when you are released." He doesn't seem like he enjoys his job or helping patients
