Dr. Hugh Morrow Sims, MD

I have known Dr. Sims for over 20 years. I do not understand some of the terrible reviews I have read on him. They in no way relate to the experiences and office visits I have had with him. I find him to a most knowledgeable and caring person. It’s unfortunate that others can’t see him like I do.

Went because of hearing loss in ear. Diagnosed with hold in ear drum surrounded by scar tissue. Doctor was very rude and in a hurry. Was told because I was old (72). he wasn't going to fix it. I asked what could have caused it. He said my age. Told me to come back in six months. Worse experience I have ever had with a doctor.

I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!We had a very easy time getting an appointment anytime we needed one, but when we finally got into the room Dr. Sims seemed to rush us along to get to the next patient. He wasn't really friendly with us. After my sons ear tubes were removed and he was left with a hole in his ear drum, we didn't see the doctor for his follow up, they set us uop with nurse practicioner. she seemed very loyal to the doctor and all we were told then was to keep his ear dry and when he was 5 or 6 years old at the earliest they'd do another surgery, never explain the surgery. We left that day with nothing but a prescription for allergy medication!
