Lately, emotional pain seems to be dictating your life and controlling almost everything you do. It's frustrating, overwhelming, and seemingly endless. It sucks. You try to keep busy to avoid it, but as soon as there is a brief pause in activity: while you wait at a red light, or lay in bed wide awake in the middle of the night, or settle in your chair for a moment of rest, that excruciating feeling creeps back in... it's so intense and deafening. You have nowhere to hide from it and no power to control it. You have tried the old ways to manage it, but they have stopped working like before. You want to scream and blame. You feel that you are dumb, unworthy of love, or will never be enough. You lament: "Where is the relief? Where is the rescue? Will I ever feel joy again?"

I am here for you! I have been called to sit with you in the counseling room, to truly listen to what your heart, mind, and body have to say. I provide a safe space where you and I together will find your way …forward. You have a lot inside. It may take us a while to process everything through. Do not hurry. Do not rush. You have all the time and space you will need. At the end, you will become more fully alive, after you embrace your pain, transform your mind, and restore your passion. It has happened for me and so many others - as long as you are willing to take the journey, it will happen to you too.

Over the years, I have effectively worked with many clients for anxiety and depression, trauma therapy, and couple relationship issues especially manifested in blended or multiracial family settings. I use a combination of top-down talk therapy, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Systems Therapy, and bottom-up body-based therapy such as brainspotting and somatic experiencing. For couples, I have used emotionally focused therapy.

Going into mental health field is my calling. I long for the space that I can hold for you, where you feel safe, heard, seen, and empowered to explore the aspects of your life that block you from living out the life you are meant to live. Hearing your story and relating to you with trust and openness is the most sacred thing I can experience. I deem it a great honor and reward to witness your life heal and transform with the light and love from above.
