Huy Hoang, MD

Huy Hoang, MD, is a general surgeon from Miami, FL now joining AdventHealth. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR, and completed his residency in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL, where he served as Chief Resident. He is trained in gastrointestinal, laparoscopic, robotic, abdominal hernia, vascular access surgeries, and surgical wound care. Before becoming a surgeon, Dr. Hoang was a public high school science teacher in Los Angeles, CA. He speaks English and Vietnamese. He is committed to treating all his patients like family: with compassion, respect and integrity. His patients' needs are top-priority and he will ensure their concerns are heard and addressed by collaborating with the patients, their family, and the entire healthcare team.
