Dr. Hytham Manuel Imseis

I also had a CVS test performed by Dr. Imseis in 2020. Even though all previous genetic testing came back with nothing wrong, he persuaded my husband and I to do the CVS test to make it 100 percent certain the baby was okay. He assured us the probability of miscarriage was very low. Trustingly, we agreed to the test. First, he went in vaginally but was unable to retrieve any fluid. He proceeded to go through my back, with no explanation of this being an even higher risk procedure. Inserting the needle in my back ultimately damaged the amniotic sac and caused my water to break less than a week later. I lost the baby at 14 weeks. It was my first pregnancy. The trauma of this will haunt me the rest of my life. And it hasn’t been until now, four and a half years later that I have the courage and strength to share my story. I never received an apology, or confirmation that a miscarriage occurred due to this procedure at the hand of Dr. Imseis. I suspect to keep me from pursuing malpractice… litigation. I advise all women to stay away from Dr. Imseis, and to always have open discussions with doctors, while trusting their instincts and using their voice.

I had to see this doctor because mine wasn’t in for the day. Horrible bed side manner! He walked in and was pompous and arrogant and the information he gave me was totally wrong. Luckily I’ve been working with a specialist pertaining to my condition so I was able to see right through his incorrect information. If they ever told me my doctor wasn’t in again, and he had to take care of me again, I would literally refuse to be seen and make a different appointment for another day, and that’s saying a lot considering I live almost an hour away from the establishment. Don’t waste your time with him.

Unlike the other reviews on Dr. Imseis, I had a very pleasant and positive experience with him and his staff. I found him to be very knowledgeable as well as very patient concerned. We were referred to him by our regular OB, at a very stressful time. He calmed our fears and I left feeling much better with much better knowledge of the situation. I would highly recommend him.

Such a stressful time in my life made even more stressful by Dr. Imseis and his staff. I would highly recommend you consider other doctors.

I have been to this practice several times for other pregnancies. I had a CVS done by this doctor and had the same exact experience as the other reviewer. DO NOT BE SEEN BY THIS DOCTOR! The other doctors in the practice are great. I would give zero stars if I could.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. I HAD A CVS TEST AND HE WENT THROUGH MY AMNIOTIC SACK. I LOST ALMOST ALL OF MY AMNIOTIC FLUID AND HE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE MISCARRIAGE OVER THE WEEKEND. I DIDN'T HAVE A MISCARRIAGE BUT 27 WEEKS LATER I HAD A STILLBIRTH. HORRIBLE DOCTOR.
