Dr. Ian Matthew Sambur, MD

I liked Dr. Sambur and thought he was very thorough. His explanations were clear and he is kind.

I came to Dr Sambur after suffering horribly for two weeks with some sort of upper respiratory virus. I haven’t been this sick since the late 1990’s when I was a teenager. I was going out of my mind being so sick at the height of summer and prior to this visit, went to Urgent Care twice and also saw my primary doctor. Dr. Sambur was able to quickly diagnose what was wrong, provide me with a plan of action, and within a day of following his recommendations, I finally started feeling better. He was also wonderful to talk to, listened carefully to me and answered my questions, and didn’t rush my appointment. Above all, he is kind. I look forward to seeing him again in the future! Thank you!

What a disappointment. Dr. Sambur is arrogant, rude, and retaliatory. He possesses zero bed-side manner and he speaks to you as if you’re 5. Go and see... you’ll think of me immediately. I vividly remember him scoping me, (not gently and quite unskillfully), and then when I innocently and reflexively coughed while I had a tube up my nose, he proceeds to tell me in a disgusted and condescending tone, “cover your mouth when you cough”. Like... are you serious buddy? I’m trembling with discomfort because your anesthetic didn’t work and your tube is literally pressed against my involuntary gag reflex, and all you can tell me 5x is “cover your mouth”. Some ENT. I always respect doctors, but he was a plain jerk. You could tell what he was in his youth. The same guy. He never takes calls either. Good luck asking him to go over bloodwork. ProHealth losing tons of revenue with this guy. I know 6 other families who feel even worse than I do. Stay away.

Not only does this man have a horrible bedside manner he is completely disrespectful and uneducated in his profession. I never ever had an issue with a doctor in my life. This man should not be aloud to see patients.

I think Dr. Sambur is Excellent...I have gone to him many times and he makes me feel very comfortable. He is very understanding and I would not go anywhere else.

Horrible bedside manner and cocky attitude. Barely listened to my explanation on why I was there and probed my nostrils with no care or interest for my well being. When I told him he was hurting me, he stopped and told me I had sleep apnea. I got a 2nd opinion and found out I actually had allergies. And just now when I called to cancel my next appointment, it took the women 10 minutes to do so. Avoid.

I had an appointment with dr Sambur and I have to say way very unhappy.. He was very rude and his bedside matter was terrible.. It was like I was doing him a favor by coming in for an office visit.. He also did not properly diagnose my illness.. Will never be back to see him..
