Find another Rheumatologist!! His attitude is very ugly. He yelled at me for having a horrible reaction to the meds he gave me. I was not expecting to land in ER from them. He would not do anything but yell at me after that, "WHY ARE YOU HERE?", "WHY ARE YOU HERE, WHY ARE YOU HERE?" That was all I got from him at my next appt. He would not let me speak or work at all with me! There are plenty of other Drs to go to. Northwestern obviously does not care that they have a very bad Dr. working for them! I read some other bad reviews on him and tried him anyway. Please pay attention to the bad reviews. They are true. I had also been taking my father to him so had to find new dr. for us both. But I did find an amazing Dr. at Edwards for us.

His outstanding care enabled me to use my hands again and to not let me lose my job. A great doctor, great bedside manners and highly professional.

He was the only doctor who listened to me and was able to help me. I almost gave up on doctors until i met him. I have been feeling great under his care. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Alghafeer was 40 minutes late (no apology) and was dismissive and condescending toward me in discussing my joint problems. He may or may not be a good rheumatologist, but his poor attitude toward patients makes him a poor choice of doctor.

He took care of my mother for her arthritis. He did a great job. She is able to walk again.highly recommend.

My new family doctor referred me to Dr Al. I had to drive 45 miles to see him. He was the 3rd arthritis doctor I saw in one year. I was not not disappointed. I told him up there that he was worth the drive. I wish I was referred to him a long time ago.
