Dr Shalaby has been my PCP for several years and I feel extremely fortunate to have him as my doctor. I live in Maryville but saw one of the top internists in Knoxville for many years. After tiring of driving to Knoxville, I changed to a Maryville doctor Shalaby. It was a great change as I much prefer Dr Shalaby over the Knoxville doctor. Patients of Dr Shalaby can consider themselves very fortunate. He is very thorough and attentive to every detail of my health needs.

Very thorough and open to input, after many years with Dr Shalaby as my PCP I have total confidence that he will listen to me and act appropriately on that input, a characteristic I find rare in doctors who mostly either disregard patient input or take it as “beneath them” to listen to a mere laymen. I strongly recommend him as a great primary care physician and internist.

I had been looking for a new doctor for a long time. The first time I went to his office I was amazed about how nice the staff was and how nice Dr. Shalaby was. I went to him with quite a few problems that I had been trying to tell other doctors over the years. Dr. Shalaby ordered some tests and set me up with a specialist and sent me down to get lab work done. Before I went back for my lab work, his nurse was calling me to give me my appointment with the specialist. I have never been to a doctor who called me back so quick with the appointment. Also, when they got my lab work the nurse called me immediately to tell me the things that were wrong with it. They are now sending me to a rheumatologist because he believes I have Lupus. As sad as I was to hear the diagnosis, I was so relieved to have a doctor to FINALLY listen to me and find out what is going on! I would recommend him to everyone!!!
