Dr. Ida Kirshevn Altshuler, MD

Spent years dealing with this office's inability to answer the phone, return calls, or provide any useful medical assistance. Besides their disgraceful bed side manner and generally inept staff, collectively the practice has minimal capacity to provide sound medical advice besides encouraging patients to get a second opinion in Manhattan. Save yourself the aggravation and don't bother with this highly unprofessional practice. (Required to leave 1 star.)

My father saw Dr. Altshuler and every time he went he was sent home with a different dx (seizures, parkinsons, etc) and different medications. Medications that interact with each other no less (our pharmacy let us know). And he was not told that there are certain dietary restrictions with MAOI medications.

Extremely rude and inconsiderate physician! Has no bedside manners. I have never met such a nasty and condescending physician in my life. She was unable to resolve my issues and concerns and barely listened to what I had to say. Going to her was a complete waste of time and money! Never again will I be going back to her again.

I was recommended to speak with Dr. Jutkowitz - neurologist for another opinion regarding my case, response and results were not any different than the past results I had known from the past doctors/specialists I had visited. I am a well educated person about my condition, epilepsy and well versed about it.
