Dr. Idopise Enefiok Umana, MD

I have been seen by Dr. Umana for the last decade, and I can't say enough good things about her. Yes she is smart, funny, efficient, understanding, and much more. But above all she is caring. She cares for her patients as family members, and they know it. I know it because I have witnessed it firsthand. I would recommend Dr. Umana to family and friends in a single heartbeat.

I have been a patient of Dr. Umana for eight years. She is very thorough and caring and never made me feel rushed. I do agree with other comments that staff can sometimes make a difference but that can happen with any office.

You'll be lucky to get 10 minutes with her. She appears nice, but does not follow up. Huge hassle trying to get prescription refilled or speak to nurse. Office staff is incompetent and unorganized.

Dr Umana is a skilled physician. Unfortunately the staff does leave something to be desired at times.

Dr. Umana is very nice; however, she as too many patients; not so good as follow up. Communication is very poor and has been for a long time.The staff is incompetent. Supposedly, they've been trying to improve for a long time. Office is understaffed. Thankfully, this staff does not work in a hospital - that would be dangerous.

I love Dr. Umana ..she is the best! Very caring and very smart! I can not say enough great things about her ..She is very easy to talk to and a wonderful listener.

I liked Dr Umana up until she got a new nurse and I needed a prescription refill. The nurse was very rude to me over the phone telling me that I was not getting that medication because Dr Umana had never prescribed it to me. I printed out all the times she had prescribed it to me from my CVS account online and took them up to the office to try to get them to please give me the medication that I was now out of. The nurse and the dr refused to come out to the desk to speak with me. I was never rude nor did I ever raise my voice but I then got a letter stating that I needed to find a new dr that Dr Umana would no longer see me. I never got an explanation nor got the chance to talk to Dr Umana and try to find out what was going on. I was left without medication and left in the middle of a serious medical problem without a dr. Not very professional in my opinion.

After years of doctor's not listening and not caring, Dr. Umana changed all of that. For the past several years, each time I saw her, she asked pertinent questions, analyzed all the data from tests and exams, and discussed it in detail with me and my husband. She sought answers for my health issues and followed up with care and concern. Her staff is efficient and caring as well. My health is returning, my life has been saved and I have a new outlook on life.

Hurries in and out....does not listen....rush........

Hang it up if you are really sick!!!!!! She didn't even exam me last time I was in there!!!!!! Thru and prescription at me and left!!!!!
