Worst office staff I ever have had to deal with.

I love Dr. Obianyo and his staff. I have been going to him for 14 years and has been such a blessing to my family. He is knowledgeable in a lot of fields, concerned about his patients and also committed to find healing for them. His staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Obianyo is the best.....

Dr Obi is very concerned about his patience, he takes all the time with you that you want! I've never had any questions he didn't answer.

He spends time with you ABOVE AND BEYOND your wildest expectations! If you feel your doctor doesn't listen, come to this one. If you feel your doctor doesn't care, come to him. If you're in a hurry and can't stand to wait longer than expected, don't bother. Sometimes he runs behind because he is major big time thorough with EACH AND EVERY patient. His staff runs the gamut. Although I never know what to expect from the staff, they aren't the ones that I am coming to see. If you need a refill call in advance because it is sometimes slow in getting one. But this doctor cares more than anyone I have seen in 40 years of seeing many different doctors who thought they were the end all. This doctor helps you stay in control of the treatment that you want as well as advising you of the treatment that you need . And I appreciate that after having so many pushy doctors in the past. I guarantee you will love him.

If you're concerned about a longer wait than usual, be assured that he is taking great care of the people before you AS he will take GREAT care with you.This man is an excellent caregiver - he goes above and beyond in his diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. When you go in here you can expect to be with the doctor for approximately an hour as he goes over everything with you thoroughly!!! I mean THOROUGHLY! You will love him as many of his patients do. Don't hesitate if you want the doctor that treats you like a person, that actually LISTENS to what you say and ACTS on what you say. If a doctor who listens to your multiple problems and symptoms is the kind you've been wishing for, wish no further. I assure you - I've been a patient of his for years and I highly recommend him. In response to a post regarding wait times - again, I agree that wait times can be long - sometimes extraordinary, but again - I'm 50+ dealing with active Crohn's disease and I've NEVER been under a doctor's care… as good as this doctor - NEVER and that INCLUDES all of the gastroenterologists that ALL have God complexes! Go somehwere else and wait less, but you get what you wait for and that's a guarantee!

Dr. Obianyo is caring and spends all the time you need to ask question and for him to talk with you about your health issuse. He knows the lastest on medical issuses. His staff has changed since I have been going there and they need a little training on what to do to help this doctor. The only thing bad is sometimes the wait is 2 hours, but usually because he give the time to each person as they need him. His appointments need to be one person every 30 min. no more then two hour plue emergey.

My first visit was scheduled at 1PM. I arrived early to complete paperwork. I had begun a new job and did not have much time off at this point. I scheduled the first appointment right after lunch so that I could get back to work. I was not seen by Dr. Obianyo until 6:40 PM!.. I have been asked why I stayed... the answer to that is because of the time off. I had little time off accrued at that point and stuck it out because I had already taken the afternoon off, but was hoping that I could return to work in order to save any unused time off for other needs. On my second visit I scheduled the appointment for the first thing in the morning, thinking I would be seen right away. When I got there, they had scheduled three other people on my same time block, per the check in sheet...( UNETHICAL)!! I waited until 12:40 to see him. Waiting 4-6 hours to see a physician is inexcusable. Heck, waiting ONE HOUR is INEXCUSABLE. I love how patients are now billing the physician when they have to wait.… It Is very disrespectful to a physician to make a patient wait that long. We have to take time off work, often unpaid, and make child care arrangements, etc, to see the doctor and to force wait times this excessive is NUTS! I watched no less than 4 people walk out of his office on the first visit and 1 on the second visit. The staff were not pleasant when I asked them about working for him. Apparently, they also suffer because they never know how late they will be leaving the office and often have to make additional childcare arrangements themselves. This man is a very thorough doctor when you do get to see him and some of his patients say that is why they continue to use him as their provider ( I asked some fellow patients because I really wanted to know why some ever came back again!)However, he is also very disrespectful to us as working humans and he does not feel our time is worth anything, as is evidenced by the way he repeatedly makes patients wait. He schedules multiple appointments during a single time slot because of his many walk-outs. Unethical!!! I recommend not seeing this physician unless you have absolutely nothing else to fill your day with, such as work and family...

i read some of the revws on the office staff when i decided to take dr obi as my new dr due to my other dr was a long drive for me,bu i overlookd that and stated they cant be that bad,but they are witches,uncareing and unoriginized hatful on and on i could go,i called 10062011 for refill on my pain meds for a bad back,i was put on hold 3 times and hung up on 3 times .finally i spoke with front desk clerk or nurse didnt get her name ,i told her what i needed and she had the wrong chart ,she had linda grays chart she apologized and then couldnt find my chart,she finally found ,she paused a min and stated r u hurting this bad to take 4 7.5 lortabs aday,i thought to myself what this to her,i visit my dr to dicuss this info,and in my dicussion with my dr he states i will have a lot of pain with the condition i have been taking this medication for almost 3yrsand i felt invaded and critisized and made feel somewhat like a drug addict and i didnt apreciate it at all,then i was told i will… probably be next week before this is called in well my back doesnt no the meaning of waiting till next week ,sounds like to me dr obi needs to clean house or he will be out of business

I love Dr Obi. He is a very caring and understanding doctor. He really listens to you and will do everything to find out what is wrong. He is very thorough and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend him.

He is fantastic, you just might have to wait to see him. It is worth it though, he really thinks through everything and he really cares. I'm a healthcare professional, and I go to Dr. Obianyo because I trust him and think he's the best!
