Dr. Ignacio Valdes, MD

Dr Valdes threatened to drop me as a patient if I asked questions because I asked why I couldn’t wear a mask during Covid. He told me if I “didn’t stop arguing I could find another doctor.” I wasn’t arguing, they stuck me in the corridor for 40 mins, patients were 2 feet apart and I did everything that was asked of me. He said he didn’t want to be my doctor anymore and now I am left without a doctor at 32 weeks. He told me it would be easy to find a doctor but it isn’t. When my husband called him after 2 weeks of trying to find a doctor, he agreed that it wasn’t easy.

I think Dr Valdes is a wonderful doctor if you have limited insurance or you rely on Medi-Cal for health coverage. He would probably be among the best, however if you have private insurance you can buy better service! You will have to wait an extremely long time for him as if you're in a County facility and the office is extremely dirty! I'd be worried about catching a staph infection, i do feel it's that dirty. I'd never go back and I wouldn't recommend to any of my friends or family.
