Dr. Ilana Cohen Kayrouz, MD

As a young fit person, I ran into some serious health problems that were totally unexpected. I was mis-diagnosed initially but as soon as we got it right, Dr. Kayrouz was on top of it. She cares not only about my physical health but also about my emotional health. She does thorough examinations and doesn't seem like she's anxious to rush off to the next patient. She always takes the time she needs with you and explains her decision-making process. I was a fluke and no one would have expected my correct diagnosis at my age. But once I was being treated, she stuck with me the whole way, staying up to date on my progress and even calling me from her home when I had questions while in the hospital. I feel like I'm in excellent hands with her on my case and will continue to travel to see her!

She listens to me and I feel like she actually cares about my needs and concerns. THat is very hard to come by these days in my own personal experience !!!
