Dr. Ilana Denise Lustig, MD

My experience was remarkably similar to some of the other reviewers. Dr. Lustig was pleasant and funny when things went well, but irritable and unhelpful when I called after hours or had challenges with my pregnancy. She seemed like she was following a script, and didn't like to deal with anything that forced her to deviate from it. She was also poor at follow up; for example, she didn't test my sugar at my post-delivery appt even though I had gestational diabetes, never screened for post-partum depression, etc.

She might be a fine doctor and she will be all jokes when things are well, but she went crazy on us after we had some complications. We were afraid to pick up the phone because of her yelling and harassment. She was insulting me and my spouse! She assured us that she is always on call but it turned out that she was off every other weekend. She wasn't available when she was needed and then went crazy because we delayed our procedure waiting for her.

The office is very homey and relaxing, Dr Lustig is the best OBGYN I have ever had! She spends time with you after each appointment to explain everything to you and just to check out your well being. She is extremely knowledgable knows all of the latest technology. I have recommended friends and family and have gotten the exact same feedback.

Dr. Lustig has been my ob/gyn for 13 years. She did a marvelous job with my delivery (had complications), her surgical skills are excellent, and she follows up if there are any issues. In the past I've experienced a long wait time to see her, but now that she's only doing gyn, the wait time is no longer than 10 minutes. Highly recommend, no reservations at all.

I have used Dr. Lustig for 22 yrs. and have been totally satisfied. She is professional, compassionate and caring. Her response with test results, biopsies etc. are immediate. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a top notch physician. Best of the best!

Dr. Lustig was caring, put me at ease, and was with me throughout the birth of my baby and was amazing. I always felt I was in good hands with her. I could not have been more happy with her. She has a joyful way about her, and gives you the feeling that having a baby is something that you really can do, and that it's going to be OK!

I love Dr. Lustig! She is a Queen.

I had been with Dr. lustig for a while and was fairly content- I had no issues. The I called with a problem/question in the evening and she was so horrible. could not care less about what i was saying and told me if i had a problem go to the ER, "what did i want her to do?"
