After treating me for months he told me candidly that he would try to correct my problem surgically if I insisted, he personally did not believe any possible relief would be worth the tremendous risks involved in working within deep fusion that had been in place for decades. We're treating medically instead, and I am forever grateful for both his level of care and his honesty.

Dr. Kupershtein operated on my spine on May 24, 2019. I woke from my operation pain free. He removed a benign cyst, or as much of it as he could safely remove, as well as some scar tissue that was the result of a prior laminectomy (6 years ago). The recovery was easy. Dr. Kupershtein's staff is very pleasant as was the staff at Overlook Hospital where my surgery was performed.
