No exam given . Not even the basics like looking at throat , feeling nodules in neck / thyroid , checking for breast lumps , checking ears , reflexes . Wont check my blood sugar , never collects urine to check whatever may be learned there . Looks at a computer screen not your physical body itself !!!!! I had stage 3 cancer and heart issues , not a healthy kid !!!!!

This doctor is very pleasant and courteous in his manner . However , he does not even bother to give the most cursory examination . I think he listened to my breathing thats it . The nurse takes your bp and temp . He does not examine you - as in - use a tongue depressor to look in throat , look in your ears , feel your throat or neck , do any breast exam , check pulse or reflexes . Computerized medicine can be very valuable ; I am sure . But when the Doctor looks at what’s on his screen more than he looks at you , it seems like it’s doing more harm than good . By the way , I am in my 50´s with a history of stage 3 cancer , thyroid problems and abnormal heart rhythms , and major depression . He asked about none of these . I have also told nurses several times that I get shaky and sweaty if i dont eat , and a would like my blood sugar tested , he never asked about that either .

Dr. El Asmar's staff is not courteous to his patients and the wait time is ridiculous. My mother had an appointment at 9:45am, we got here at 9:00a.m its 10:45 am and she still has not been called back once. Not even to get her vitals checked. When I went up to the window to ask their response was that they only have 3 doctors. However, when asked why all of the people that came afterwards are being attended before her even though her appointment time was over an hour.

Dr. Elasmar is one of the best physicians I have known after over 35 years in the hospital industry. He is smart, compassionate, and very attentive. Usually physicians of his caliber end up in the "high rent" areas of town because they can make more money. But Dr. Elasmar is committed to the healthcare of this community.
