Dr. Irina Jasper, MD

The staff is the worst! They are too slow, not caring, and always doing wrong! I had to call at least 5 times for each referral and prescription to make sure they are following it up! It took 3 months for them to give me the right referrals! Also sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy! These took hours from me! I am definitely changing my primary Doctor!

I am only writing this review as a way to counter incomprehensible negative reviews--one of the reasons I find "rating" doctors like you would a restaurant to be absurd and unhelpful! We--my husband and I--have been going to Dr. Jasper for 15 years. She has always been patient and listens to our concerns and complaints about ailments of aging. She knows every specialist in town, and refers us to those who may know more than she does about a particular symptom. She helped my exceedingly recalcitrant husband quit smoking, which is nigh on to miraculous. She has seen me through 5 surgeries, panic attacks, and any variety of whining complaints. We have been through several staff changes, although her nurse Patty has been with her from the beginning, and has always been more than helpful.

Rushed and unwilling to admit mistakes. Poor attitude and communication.

I've been seeing Dr. Jasper for years and every experience has been wonderful and very helpful. Her staff have always been courteous and nice.

great doctor, great nurse Patty but the front desk staff are very unprofessional . They talk negative after each phone call they receive with each other and make fun of the caller. They forget to fax , they do not follow up ..simply they do not care as we have to remind them what they have to do . Is this a trend to hire rude staff to represent you? I wonder why the Doctors do not see this? I like Dr. Jasper but do I recommend her to my friends and family ? NO, I will not because I know that they will not tolerate with the rudeness of her staff . Are these front desk staff being trained properly ! Why do they choose this field if they do not care for the sick people who come to the doctor's office to get well ! I hope Dr. Yasper reads all these notes. and do something about her staff Perhaps it is a training issue too .

She is a great listener, is very thorough and i never feel like she is in a hurry.

Recommend her highly; great doctor. Cares and takes the time with patient. Discusses issues.

Dr. Jasper is knowledgeable and friendly. Her staff is terrible -- rude, incompetent, and untimely. There is little privacy -- much discussion takes place right next to the waiting room where everyone can hear, and there is no curtain around the exam room doors, so there is a direct view inside to where you are sitting with a piece of paper to cover you when the door opens.Here are some of the unacceptable problems I encountered. I signed a release form for the doctor to get pertinent information from a previous doctor. That previous dr called me to confirm that I wanted the info transferred. When I asked Dr. Jasper's staff for the information, they recalled being contacted, but had lost the information. I asked them to recontact the past dr to get the info again. Four months and many phone calls later, I still do not have the information!When you have tests done, the dr tells you that if you don't hear from them in a week, that means your results are fine. I had tests done and… heard nothing. Several months later when I went again I asked to see a copy of the results. I was the one to notice that I was given the wrong test!!Once when the Dr was out, the staff referred me to Urgent care. I made an appointment with Dr. Jasper a week later for follow up. Urgent Care had no record of my tests. I had to have them all redone. This time I insisted on seeing my results. Over a week later (when I was told the test results would be ready in 3 days) only half the results were in... and I was given an incorrect test, AGAIN!!!For the next week and a half I called every other day asking about the rest of the results. Every single time, they told me that they had already given me the results and I had to explain again that I only got half the results. The receptionist kept telling me that she didn't have time to find out where the rest of the results were, or if the tests had even been done. I finally went in to try to talk to them in person and was rudely told by the doctor, nurse, and receptionist in front of an entire crowded waiting room that they were too busy to talk to me that day and I should come back later. Two and half weeks after I had the tests done (for the second time). I cannot deal with them anymore and will have to go to a third doctor to try to get the remaining tests. I have a feeling my insurance company is going to have a problem with the same tests being ordered three times in one month.To summarize: I was treated rudely, not given my results, had the incorrect test done on me on two separate occasions, and had results disappear twice as well.

I love Dr. jasper and her staff.
