Dr. Iris A Drey, MD

Dr Drey is an angel sent by God. I am still under her care. She goes out of her way to make sure her patients are well taken care of. Dr Drey called me almost 10pm to make sure I would have a night of sleep after I tried to interpreter my MRI’s I was a nervous wreck. She also made sure I got my MRI done asap after I reported to feel weakness in my leg. I have no other words to describe her because beyond amazing is not in the dictionary. Dr Drey takes her time, those above and beyond and is caring and professional. She is far from me 2 hours away, but worth the drive. I would drive across the Country if I had to for her to care for me.

Please stay away from the “MD-Orthopedic “! I have never had such a disheartening experience with any medical “professional” in my life. She was rushing me, did not answer my questions, did not listen to my concerns, and simply shut me down. Even the front end staff and the “assistant” that walked me in had an attitude and this whole experience broke my spirit. Stay away. She was unprofessional and simply horrible.

I have been a patient of Dr. Iris Drey at Premier Orthopaedics in Bloomfield, NJ for a year and she has provided me the most efficient, effective and beneficial services I’ve ever had or could ask for in this specialty. Her evaluations are comprehensive and encompass not only medical history, the usual x-rays and physical examinations, but she also takes into serious account my personal descriptions of symptoms and concerns in her diagnoses. Dr. Drey’s vast knowledge and experience combined with the evaluations have resulted in the most positive and effective treatments for my conditions. Initially I went to see Dr. Drey to receive lubricating fluid injections for both of my extremely bad knees. I’ve had these and other kinds of shots from other doctors before and they were painfully administered and not always successful. Dr. Drey has an unbelievably painless touch. As she was prepping the area and talking to me I was bracing myself for the injection – I never felt it. I couldn’t… believe it was done until I saw her put a band-aid over the site. She determined the absolute exact location to inject because the relief was almost immediate after leaving the office. The same was true recently when I had an injection for a lower back condition. Dr. Drey was speaking to me and I never felt the injection until she tapped me on the shoulder to say it was done. I am never apprehensive at my visits to Dr. Drey, I have absolute confidence in her skills and complete trust in her conclusions and plans for treatments. Dr. Drey is professional in her approach, empathetic and friendly in her manner and she answers all my questions completely and with clarity which is very important to me as a patient. I’m very lucky to have Dr. Drey as my doctor.
