Dr. Irwin Goldstein, MD

Hands down the most amazing doctor I've ever met. I had a painful sexual dysfunction ailment for about 3-4 years, going to countless doctors during that time until I found Dr Goldstein by luck after countless hours of internet research. Not gonna lie, he is VERY expensive and doesn't accept any medical insurance. But trust me when I say that all the money I put into his treatments was BEYOND worth it. He is so knowledgeable in the field of sexual medicine and was the only one to give me an actual proper diagnosis when other doctors I consulted with prior had no idea what was wrong with me. I am now fully cured of all my sexual health problems all thanks to Dr Goldstein. He is truly a godsend! So incredibly thankful that I found him. Thank you Dr Goldstein!!

This guy is an irresponsible hack. I saw Dr Goldstein when he practiced in Boston. He didn't know what was wrong with me, but that didn't stop him from putting me on eight months of the harshest antibiotics available. There are class action suits against the makers of these drugs now. He was so irresponsible that he had given me blank signed scripts after several appointments and told me I could fill them as needed. I wasn't a medical practitioner / student! This guy is dangerous. He gave me Cipro, Macrobid, and other floxin family antibiotics, swapping one out for another as I began having allergic reactions to them. This has done permanent damage to my gut flora, causing me lots of additional symptoms including food allergies which has not been fun. In addition to antibiotics, he put me on what he termed a "shotgun approach" - he threw everything at what he determined to be a prostate infection ... which it turned out wasn't the case. In fact, he didn't have any basis for… this conclusion. Multiple urinalyses came back negative. This just goes to show that these clowns don't know what they are doing. His shotgun approach consisted of antibiotics, Flomax, Propecia, and a few other drugs (basically blood thinners, smooth muscle relaxants, and hair loss drugs). What saved me was a savant-like little old man down a dark alley in Chinatown who correctly diagnosed my original condition. This Chinese doctor has no formal education (and definitely no formal medical training), yet he diagnosed me using Western medical theory and knowledge of the central nervous system. My problem stemmed from a whiplash injury that pinched the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve acts as a feedback loop for the rest of the body. When the signals from the body don't get through to your brain, everything stays on overdrive. Goldstein wasn't even close! Now, I'm left to deal with the digestive issues Goldstein and his antibiotic regimen caused, which has cost me thousands of dollars in supplements, not to mention the stress, lack of sleep, and loss of quality of life. Don't take the poison pills this guy pushes. Don't let him play guessing games with your health. He'll leave you worse off than when you started. ... I would guess he's in the pockets of Big Pharma!

Dr. Goldstein was one of the first doctors to LISTEN to me and have a solution for the pain I had been feeling for 20 years. He quite simply saved my life and I will be forever grateful to him and his team for this.

Dr. Goldstein is the most compassionate, comprehensive physician one could encounter. He takes his time, explanations are detailed, treatments are researched and tested. He does not give up on his patients. Follows up routinely, communicates with his patients for all their needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Goldstein for more than 4 years. I came to him for help with a worsening ED problem. His treatment of injections worked extremely well for a couple of years. Due to health issues and other personal issues the injections stopped providing me the help I needed and Dr. Goldstein explained that injections were never meant to be a permanent solution. I was not ready for other more drastic measures so my wife and I went two years without intimate sex. This was a very challenging time for both of us and put added stress on our longtime loving relationship. I recently started PRP treatments and just concluded my second treatment. This treatment and Dr. Goldstein's personal attention to my dilema has lead to complete success. After 2 years of no intimate relations with my wife, we are now enjoying a very happy and fulfilling sex life which is directly related to Dr. Goldstein's talent, patient care and his true desire to bring cutting edge treatments to those of us that… are desperate for help.

He really pushes very expensive surgery even if it’s not necessary. Everybody that comes into his office is a guinnea pig and a research subject so expect about 10 people in the room every time you’re there, which includes very young female student interns. Expect to be met by a very immature wait room staff that talks about their personal lives. Expect to meet a very young and immature therapist (Rose Hartzell) who forgets to call you back and reschedule- even if you’re suicidal. I hope these people fully experience what I have suffered through as a result of their incompetence

No call from him at the agreed on and confirmed time for a 10 minute new patient consultation. After 17 minute I was informed that he had no time for me.

I went to see him for PFS and he made me far worse. He praises himself as the PFS doc but he honestly jumped from diagnosis to diagnosis, and was keen on medicating the crap out of me. He didn't even look at my tests really nor did they matter much. He just jumped right into his cookie cutter protocol of anti-depressants, rydelin, clomid, arimidex, and cialis or something to that effect. It was like 5 or 6 different drugs. Then he said he would do whatever I wanted. Then he went to his big money maker which is PRP. He told me I had holes in my penile tissue was was causing the ED even though I only took finasteride for a short period of time. He then recommended PRP. The procedure left me massively bruised down there, and I have a permanent dark skin patch now that hasn't gone away for a year as if the skin was permanently damaged. The penile tourniquet left permanent nerve damage I am sure as the skin has no sensation anymore where the dark patch is. I can pinch it as hard as I can… and there is no feeling anymore because of the trauma from the tourniquet. Then the clomid and arimidex he prescribed afterwards destroyed what little libido I had left and destroyed my sensitivity even more. If I could go back in time and not see this man I would. I would be $5000 richer and healthier. He is like a snake oil salesman and I would never recommend any PFS patient to see him ever.

If you are looking to drop a lot of money on a great horse and pony show you have found your man. He has no ability to make an accurate medical diagnosis or render safe, sound and appropriate treatment. He will jump from one diagnosis to the next, run costly invasive tests and propose costly and invasive treatments procedures without sound evidence or practice. Run from this man. He will harm you, not heal you.

Kindest most informed urologist I EVER visited. Confirmed my damage and referred me to his sex therapist who worked wonders with my situation..I cannot say enough good things about this man...he was WONDERFUL>
