Dr. Isaac Felemovicius, MD

He is horrible! Arrogant. I had rectal cancer and should have had surgery but I trusted him when he wanted to do the wait and see approach. I now have matastized rectal cancer that first went to my Liver. It took him 2 days....2 DAYS!!! To call me with the results of my cat scan. I had to find a different Dr. because of my Network and he said. I WILL ALWAYD BE YOUR DR. What??? Omg. My next Dr. told me he put in my notes that I threw up my hands when he mentioned colostomy bag. He is a LIAR. Are you kidding me!!! I have a daughter and 2 Grandsons I won't be here for. Think I care about a bag. He knows he screwed up. I'm going to get a lawyer and promise he will pay for this!

It’s hard to read some of these reviews because they are SO wrong. I think that if you asked Dr. Isaac about my dad whom he treated almost 13 years ago, he would remember. My dad trusted him. He didn’t trust doctors for 40 years leading up to his diagnosis. He went above and beyond ANY doctor I have ever seen. My dads battle, became Dr. Isaac’s battle. He gave everything he had, and if whomever this is reading this review needs a sign to call him, do it. He will take care of you like family.

I saw Dr. Felemovicius for recurring diverticulitis in my sigmoid colon. The wait time to see him was 1-1/2 hours. By the time I finally got to see him, I didn't care for his "bedside manner." He asked me why I was there, and I told him that I had abdominal pain from the diverticulitis that originally started on the left side, and now I was having the pain on the right side also. His response was, "Well, maybe we should just cut you in half." He said this with a straight face, so I'm not sure if he was joking, but what kind of a remark is that? And how would saying something like that garner any kind of patient confidence in him and/or having surgery done by him? I never went back...I found a different surgeon.

Thank you for adding 15 years to my mother’s life following her colon cancer. She passed peacefully of old age with her family surrounding her. Love always. Karen

Dr. Isaac has a bit of an awkward bedside manner and often comes off in way that makes you feel attacked or belittled. For example, he walks into my room (while admitted) and says "how are you doing?" I say "I've been better." He says "why?" No other follow up; just WHY. Gave contradicting information about my disease and pain management; told me I could be discharged despite the fact that I was curled up in the fetal position with level 8 pain and tears streaming down my face.

Great, caring doctor, highly reccomend, have sent friends to see him.

Dr. Isaac is very nice and seemingly very knowledgeable. However, I went to him with a specific problem. He diagnosed me with something else, treated that, and told me once that was treated we could move on to the original problem (as the original problem was a side effect? of what he was treating). The original problem would require surgery, he said. So once I finished treatment (which took about 9 months due to waiting times between treatments), he told me that the surgery wasn't worth it and to go home and put vaseline on it, it would eventually cure itself. What! So I went to a different colorectal surgeon who advised me to schedule surgery. I was able to immediately get in (literally 2 days later) for what ended up being a very short, simple, and relatively painless procedure. I'm now happy, but Dr. Isaac didn't really do much to get me there. I'm actually a bit miffed that I could've done all of that in 2 days as opposed to the over a year I waited (in sometimes… significant pain and discomfort) with Dr. Isaac's methods.

Had my first colonoscopy today with Dr. Felemovicius. The staff was professional and caring. The doctor was easy to talk to, made sure I was comfortable during the process and made the whole experience, from the prep to the procedure, very easy. I was dreading this experience, and had heard horror stories from my friends regarding their negative colonoscopy experiences, but I have nothing but positive things to say about mine. I would recommend this doctor very highly.
