Dr. Ivan Todorov Stoev, MD

Dr. Ivan Stoev demonstrated a disappointing lack of compassion and professionalism during my care. Following my subarachnoid hemorrhage, he refused to see me because my CT scan appeared normal and, more troublingly, because I did not require surgery. He offered no explanation or reassurance about my condition, leaving me with unanswered questions and unnecessary anxiety. Rather than speaking with me directly, he sent his assistant, denying me even a brief conversation. Additionally, I had to follow up to ensure the neurology referral—promised as immediate—was actually sent. Patients facing serious health concerns deserve attentive care and clear communication, neither of which I received from Dr. Stoev. I cannot recommend him.

Dr. Stoev is a very competent neurosurgeon who discussed all of my options in our first meeting. He told me that I could have pain management (which would not correct the problem) or surgery. He was very detailed in our discussion of the surgery explaining how it would be done and what it would accomplish. All of the visits from the first to the last post operation visit were enjoyable. The office is very comfortable and his nurse was very nice and helpful in filling out forms of any type. I would recommend Dr. Stoev to anyone needing back surgery.

Dr.Stoev and staff are so wonderful! They were quick to schedule my appointment and get my surgery scheduled and approved with my insurance. Post op was wonderful and I am now pain free! Dr. Stoev is such an amazing surgeon and he truly cares about his patients!

I ended in ER due to a herdinated cervical disc and needed surgery. I was skeptical but it was a much needed surgery due to lack of movement in my arm. Dr. Stoev came to explain the my condition and the surgery. He took his time answered all my questions and even came back to speak to my husband. Surgery was a success and even home I've been able to contact the office due several concerns. I can't be any happier with Dr. Stoev and totally recommend him!!

I had the most incredible experience with this DR. I Came into the Emergency room with a herniated disk and horrible pain. This Angel, because is the only way I can name him, not only changed his medical schedule for me, but after a few hours I was in the surgery room and of course, free of pain. The overall experience with this doctor and his team was amazing. I recommend him 100%

Surgery had complications. I'm worse off. Still waiting for office to return my calls.

My consultation with Dr. Stoev regarding needed surgery was impressive. He took his time to listen, explained in detail the procedure, very respectful and professional. I wish more Doctors had bedside manners like Dr. Stoev.
