I appreciate the knowledge of Dr. Malalis and the efficiency of her and her staff. Very kind and professional treatment at all times. Never had to wait more than a few minutes past appointment. She explained what was wrong with my lumbar area, and possible treatments. MRI showed stenosis involving 3 vertebrae. Surgery was not recommended (2nd opinion) and hydro-cortisone shots worked well. I highly recommend Dr. Malalis.

I was referred to Dr. Malalis by the local ER. I had been in severe nerve pain for over a week at that time. She examined me, explained what was wrong, reassured me with her manner & her dialogue & gave me options to deal with the pain. I followed her guidance & now am almost pain free. I will go back to her & would recommend her to a friend. I feel fortunate to have her in my community.

I had set up an appointment with dr. Malalis due to a back injury. She was booked I took the first appointment available, but I left a message with her assistant Matt to see if there is anything they would suggest for the pain until the time of my appointment. I received a call back from Matt and after he discussed my situation with dr. Malalis she squeeze me in and an earlier date and time and was able to spend an ample amount of time asking me questions and getting down to what was actually causing my pain. It ended up I had a large herniated disc that was causing my pain. Unfortunately I am very afraid of needles and her suggestion was an injection however she was very patient with me and prescribed medication as well as physical therapy and at home exercises. I did these and came back and saw her and within 2 weeks my back was feeling much better and now I'm able to do I normal activities without having pain. I know that in the future if I were to need an injection and the pain… where to get even worse I would have trust that she would make me feel comfortable and put me at ease for the injection that would be needed.
