Came to see Dr. Cohen with a very scary emergency situation that turned out to be a vitreous detachment. He was very calm, caring and thorough. Now I see him once a year for a check-up. He’s great. When it’s your eyes, you want the best! Highly recommended.

I need a shot in my eye every 28 days and no matter where I am, I fly back to Dr. Cohen. I hate shots, I faint. With him, I feel nothing. I was so frightened that I was going blind, but thru his calmness he talked me off the ledge. Very caring

Dr Cohen took me right away today on referral from Dr Wyse this morning to address an eye issue that popped up. The responsiveness and care was exceptional including the willingness to explain what was being done every step of the way.

I went to two of the best retina doctors in Chicago before choosing Dr. Cohen. He was the only one that didn't make an immediate and decisive judgment about my condition. He gathered all the data points and engaged in a true didactic analysis. He explained to me in simple terms what he thought I was experiencing and why. There was no pretense, arrogance or superiority complex in his bedside manner which is rare in top tier practioners. Most of them speak to you in Latin and arrogantly dictate to you what you have and how they will treat it. This doctor is a breath of fresh air for those who like to take an active role and participate in the management of their own health care.

He stole my life, he did not tell me the truth . He let my tumor grow, I almost died and he didn't give me my treatment. He took my eye. He let me walk out of his office with a bleeding tumor in my eye knowing it could take my life. This is true.

All eye doctors are jammed and late in my experience. This is the most compassionate and knowleable doctor I have ever seen!

You couldn't ask for a better doctor, and his staff is great also.
