Dr. Jack I Kanarek, MD

He is by far one of the most amazing doctors I’ve ever been too. He returns calls within an hour, by appointments he doesn’t rush you if you have questions. When delivering he stays until the end. He has a great bedside manner. Not a long wait until appointments.

No bedside manner/no care and no concern

I saw him for my first pregnancy visit and he delivered bad news to me in the best way he could. In my second visit he explained that I am going to miscarry. My husband and I were devastated but Dr. Kanarek did make us feel comfortable and explained the hundreds of questions we had. He performed a D&C on me the next day and was very accommodating to whatever I asked and I truly felt like I was in great hands.

I've been here a few times because i needed at new GYN and every time i go there have my appointment scheduled i still have to wait for at least 1 hr to see him.Then when i do see him i feel like he is just rushing my visit and not listening to what im saying to him which makes me upset.lets not talk about the waiting time to get another appointment. Right now while sitting here writing this email i have a 7pm appointment and im trying to get in contact with the office to make sure my appointment is still on for today and their office lines are already shut off for the day so how am i suppose to know if i can still go over there its absolutely unacceptable and i will have to wait another month or more to see him

Dr. Kanarek is amazing! My husband and I are both so happy with care he provides. There are not many doctors out there that care about their patients the way that he does. Definitely recommend!

Abrupt, not caring, not willing to answer questions or to discuss things, does not return calls for several weeks, is not open to anything new.

Dr. Jack Kanarek is an excellent physician. So is Dr. Raphael Reiss. I have recommended patients and they all have extremely positive things to say of these two gentlemen.

I always discount wait times for OB/GYNs because I understand there are emergencies that slow things down, so don't pay any attention to that. Dr. Kanarek is great & I recommend him highly but the staff is obnoxious, surly & act like you're in their way. The phone is constantly busy in both offices; never can get through. Answering machine does not take messages. No website; no alternative way to contact office. Unforgivable in this day & age.
